  • Can anyone please help me out In the past i have ordered beer with my wine on line but now it seems as if it is just wine and champagne. I can't even seem to be able to purchase any of my favourite christmas spirits. Is this the same with everyone else or is it just my store? Thanks in advance

I believe that to order spirits etc you will need to go to the normal grocery shop area (NOT wine warehouse area) and it will be picked with your grocery order...You can also order wines but remember these will be at store prices and it is harder to order large quantities as these are taken from shop shelves.

  • Hello, if I was to do an online shop for £50 and use a code for say 100 points on a £50 spend then the next day remove goods until my shop was only about £20 would I still get the 100 points ????

    Thanks for any advice

You won't get the points this way.

However if you return goods when they are delivered, in my experience, you will still get the points.

I've done this a number of times but never in a big way.

For example I might remove £10-15 pounds worth of goods that I'd put in to make sure I hit the minimum spend.

I'd imagine you would get caught if you repeatedly returned goods to take the value down by a significant amount.
  • Received my clubcard vouchers this morning with Extra points codes and out of the 6 not one of them will work when placing my order. Spoke to clubcard and they have said that they do not have theses codes against my login details. They have asked that when I recieve my shop to then send them the vouchers and they will manually add the points to my account. I remember last quarter that I couldn't get a few of my extra point codes to work and just binned them. I only have 1 account with 1 email address. Is any one else having problems with their extra point codes not working?

i use vouchers instore rather than codes but most of them don't work, they say you haven't bought the right item or that you haven't spent enough and i end up at customer services getting my receipt checked to make sure i met the voucher conditions. the CS staff always say they've had hundreds of the vouchers not working when all of those customers have met the terms printed on the voucher.

  • Thanks for your reply jellyhead. I do find this annoying though as I made a point of ordering certain items to get the extra points and know I had met the conditions. It is just a pain that I now have to send them the vouchers to get them credited to my account after my shop. Hope this is sorted out next quarter.

Are Tesco's clamping down, I just noticed Bunny Zoe stated that when customer services were contacted they did not have those codes against the log in details.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.
  • I do get the impression from reading these forums that they are clamping down on codes. Surely the codes which have been sent to me personally in my clubcard mailing should work.

Have the vouchers been posted yet?
Curious as when I check my points, they have gone from £64 worth to £12 worth.
I am hoping this is because the vouchers are on their way, and not because they have been 'lost'!

No, not arrived yet. From past experience, your points tend to "drop" a while before you actually receive them in the post, so don't worry.icon7.gif
