I order my groceries to be delivered weekly. For the past 2 weeks I have had 2 items in my shopping that I hadn't ordered and were not replacements for out of stock stuff. I have on the first of these occasions one ordered item was also missing! When I called them they told me if I can make use of the items I didnt order I am welcome to them free!
Do I have to keep phoning the customer helpline to advise them or can I just keep it and use it myself as they have told me last 2 times - if it happens again of course?
I can only assume there is someone picking my order and slipping in extra stuff or putting someone elses stuff in my box by mistake. Im not moaning just a litte concerned for fellow shoppers and picking thieves!
Thanks
That happened to me recently as well. Unfortunately the items were six small tins of sweetcorn and two tins of spam - neither of which I like!!!!Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

I just filled my basket with nearly 80 quids worth and then at checkout after entering the code I got this response:
Sorry, the 'XXHDM4' voucher has been used the maximum number of times.
Am I doin summat wrong - I can't believe the code isn't working already - it was only posted here a short while agoyou know when you're getting older - the wife says, "let's go upstairs and make love" and you reply, "I can't do both" !!0 -
Did you put the dashes in???
XX-HD-M4
Used this last night and went through OK.0 -
We've shopped with Tesco online for a while but used our first voucher code this week. Unfortunately there was no sign of it on the final bill. We input it at checkout, amended the order about ten times (as usual) and then... at delivery it wasn't there.
I'm nervous about calling Tesco about it in case they ask where we got the code from. Any suggestions to either (a) get our £8 back and/or (b) what to do next time?
We followed the instructions carefully (I think) and no, the voucher hadn't expired! It said it was OK at checkout...
Thanks...0 -

Yep - I copied & pasted from your link the first time and then of course I tried it without the dashes.
EDIT: How can a voucher that claims to expire in Aug 2007 expire after just 1 day online ??you know when you're getting older - the wife says, "let's go upstairs and make love" and you reply, "I can't do both" !!0 -

The HDM4 code has been circulating on various forums for ages ... I used it some time ago. It's obviously been used the maximum amount of times now through so many people using it ... this often happens, regardless of the expiry date.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0
