  • Can anyone tell me please how the extra points on joining the video rental work. Code is for 1000 points will they be credited on signing up/before the next mailing or spread over the three month commitment. Thanks

Phoebe03cat - are you able to share the 1000 point code pls. or is it just for your use?

My free trial is about to expire - but would sign up if I were able to get 1000 points for it.;)

    Thanks.
  • I've just received my shopping today and noticed on the invoice that none of the usual BOGOF, reduced price promotions etc were deducted from my final total. Just called cs and they said their computers are up the creek so everyone is getting charged FULL PRICE for their shopping, although they expect to be able to refund people the difference in the next few days.

This is obviously going to cause problems for people on tight budgets/near their cc limits etc especially if spending more than usual due to xmas. I'd ordered several bottles of spirits (2 for £25) so my bill is way over what I should have paid

ETA: I don't know if this only affects online shopping or shop tills too (do they use the same tills to pay for online shoppers?) so check your receipts carefully.
  • Thanks **purplemoon** - my delivery is due tomorrow, so I'll check invoice while driver is still around and make sure he notes it if my BOGOFs etc. haven't come off. Hope my 1,000 pointer is added.

  • Hi

I yesterday I placed my first groceries order on Tesco website which was delivered today, but I have a few questions if anyone experienced can help answer please?

1 - At the moment I have those extra points / money off coupons that come with the clubcard statements and vouchers, I cant see how they get added online or even if they can?

2 - As I am going to continue ordering online every week from now on what can I do about the coupons (as there is obviously no point in me going accross town to my nearest store just to get a packet of half price rice, or 10 bonus points on something I wouldnt usually purchase)?

3 - I booked a delivery slot of 10am - 1pm but the delivery didnt turn up until 1:15 - 1:30pm is this normal or do I have a right to complain? Especially as this was my first experience of home delivery on groceries. I didnt even get a phonecall to say they were going to be late or were on the way.

4 - I ordered the free mince pies using the code found on the website and it appeared on the checkout screen and the confirmation 'print out' and email yet when they delivered the items there were no mince pies in the delivery and nothing on the 'receipt', can I order them again or is it 1 order per customer for free mince pies.??

5 - I ordered some Free From penne pasta which, the receipt showed was out of stock but it was replaced by ordinary spaghetti and not Free From variety. I didnt want spaghetti but would have accepted any Free From pasta (eg pasta twists or shells) as if I wanted spaghetti I would have ordered spaghetti not pasta if that makes sense? (I know spaghetti is pasta)! How can I stop this occurung next time?

6 - Finaly The last time I shopped in store last weekend the item wasnt available on the shelf either as its a Free From pizza base I cant find an alternative so was quite disapinted. when ordering on the website some items I cannot add to my 'basket' as they have £Nan next to the guide price. What does that mean?

Although it sounds like a negative experience it was quite good. If someone could help improve it and help me understand I would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    :D

  • Great, many thanks.:T

I've cancelled my free trial which was due to finish next week. I'll leave it a couple of weeks and then re-join using the 1000 points code.;)
