If you went to Uni, it is worth checking if you get any benefits as a member of Alumni... E.g. the Uni of Manchester has negotiated several benefits for its graduates, some on services local to Manchester but others national (e.g. discount with Intercontinental Hotels).

As no one wants to do them teachers and teaching assistants get paid the same money for dinner duties (they do at our school anyway). We are paid £8 for 25 mins plus a lunch voucher worth £1.75. Nearly £10 daily for only 25 mins of hell on earth. So its worth investigating to see what your school are currently paying.

Loads of discounts in the annual discount book. My favourite one has to be the dominos pizza.

Others include VIRGIN Atlantic, BAA, The AA, loads

Not so keen on the free holidays though. Mine so far have been 6 months in the Balkans (winter- verrry cold), and a few holidays in Iraq and Afghanistan. Looking forward to a war in the bahamas......I'll be up for that one. :rotfl:

    Hi All,

I run a tyre fitting franchise (no names mentioned) and would like to discuss the merits of it but there would be a personal gain for me and I don't wish to breach the Forums rules.

How can I best approach this as I feel that what I have to offer could save most of the subscribers several pounds on the cost of there tyres. We are good at what we do, and we also come to you (at no extra cost).

Help, what is the 'referrers' section?

    Best Wishes,
    Guy.

Click on "Chat Forums" on the left menu bar then scroll down to the "Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping and Fantastic Freebies". The referrers' board is at the end of that section. I think it's primarily intended for referral links but check the instructions and they may make it clear whether you can use the board to advertise your services.

Beware the annual discount book. I can most often find discounts on the websites that beat out the discounts listed in the annual. If in the RAF make friends with a pilot that has gone commericial - then you can get some decent flight deals.
