On the maternity pad subject - I find the more children you have the more you bleed and the worse afterbirth pains you have . My pains are worse than labour pains.0 -

ooh how i love this thread. am trying not to think bout the giving birth part yet. although i did have a little 'OMG how am i gonna get this out of me' the other day when my sister mentioned being 'cut' and having 'stitches'....'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

I was taking painkillers every 4 hours last time, even waking up in the night taking them which looking back was unwise.:o
I'm stocking up on the nurofen already0 -
Hi, joining this thread since i got 2 x BPF's today, approx 5wks pg and v.nervous. I have one other child who is now 6 but feels an age ago!
Seems too early to think about it too much but can't help it!
When pg with DS i didn't find out til 14wks so time will drag til 1st scan etc!!0 -

i dont mind.i'd rather be prepared for a lot of pain than think its a pant, a push and theres a baby. lol. one of the first things my friend said to me when i told her i was pregnant was 'people lie. giving birth hurts. not a little but massivley so''Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
oh anyone watching The Hospital on C4 tonite. its on at 9

Definite vote for Boots Maternity Pads here!
And take SB's advice and embrace the sloggi wearer within - buying cheap big knickers was a false economy for me...they had no 'give' and made my stitches really sore. I ended up wearing my maternity bikini bottoms and sending out for some comfy sloggis...
