Helen could you tell them mummy "might" be pregnant? Instead of saying mummy is definitely having a baby etc just tell them you might be having one and that is why you are having a scan. Then have a quick word with the people at the scan department when you get there and just ask them to be very discreet? it's the only thing I can think off to avoid building their hopes up too much?

Searching, I'd go for the first one, but that's just me! :)

Jillie, yep I've seen the pics, he is gorgeous isn't he ~ what a head of hair on him!!

Just sorted out the camera for my hospital bag ~ shoite, this is feeling more and more real, eeeek!

How many nappies do you think I will need? This is my 3rd child so hopefully with all being well, I'll be home not too long after the birth.

Would you say 10 would be enough? Of course if it's not, Steve can always bring some more for me.

And knickers for me - 3 pairs be enough? And 1 pack of 12 maternity [STRIKE]bricks[/STRIKE] towels

When I did a hospital tour they said don't bring much cos youre not here long but all the books etc say a pack of nappies, 3 nighties and I plan to take 5 pairs of knick-knacks - been a while since needed to change cos of leaking so might be a shock if Ive not got enough.

Whole pack of mat pads too i reckon - anyone know why they are like the old fashioned pads when normal sant pads are now so much more streamlined?????

I have a similar one to the top one but from home base. The top of mine is a perfect size for a changing mat so I havent had to buy a seperate changing unit!

It's easier for them to estimate your blood loss.

I'm taking about 7 nappies, don't plan on being there long enough to use them all... Packed about 5 pairs of big pants, but only because they don't take up much space... 1 pack of maternity towels that were in a gift basket my charity gave me when I stepped down... They only look slim though... 1 pair of pyjamas for on the ward...They're black so leakage won't matter... But I never leaked with Aimee anyway... 2 nighties for in labour... A long one for wandering round (black again) and a short one for the pool and delivering (the one I gave birth the Aimee in :D)... If I get chance to change...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
