Sami, I'm having swab and msu as I was carrying it last time. Peeves me right off as it should be everyone and had they done it at 32wks last time we wouldn't have been through the hell we did. Government said 500 babies a year dying of it don't warrant the cost of testing everyone, tell that to the 500 families. And it would only cost them £10 per mum!!!
Too many children, too little time!!!

Feelie, if you want to sleep, you sleep, if you want to walk about and bounce about, you do that. Only you can say what is best for you at this point :D Yay on finally getting a car seat!

I have visions of you in halfords, leaning on hubby, puffing through a contraction saying 'Yes, *puff* that car seat but *puff* do you have it in *puff* another colour?' :rotfl:

I got an item on ebay, yay!

Going to now list books 1 to 9 of my wheel of time series (I'm still reading book 10), they grab like £25!

Oh my god! The eggs have been boiling for about half an hour! Good job they are just for painting! :D

Pretty sure I can't change the medicine she's on, it was prescribed specifically for whatever her sample grew at the lab... Plus the Dr's isn't open until Tuesday and she'll be nearly finished by then... We just had another tantrum in my Mum's car over a broken snack a jack... I can see it getting a bit wearing...

We just went to comet clearance to get a new tumble drier, thought there'd be some real bargains to be had... But nope... Ended up coming back and ordering one from 123 electrical which is where we got the washer from. Only trouble is, I have a washing machine full of baby things I was looking forward to tumble drying this afternoon, looks like it will be a radiator job because they only deliver on Thursdays :( At least I know not to waste my time at the comet clearance again...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

    Afternoon ladies,

Feelie - Thank you for the info regarding Leebruss. I popped down there this morning on the off chance and it was all locked up. We couldn't even see the so-called showroom - it just looked like an industial building, like you said it was very strange and not what we were expecting at all. But it is situated right behind the supermarket we sometimes use, and it is literally 2 mins away from where we live anyway, so we will no doubt be popping back down there at some point.

Tia, your post sounds very similar to when I was in labour with Aimee... Got told to go for a walk so my sister and I took a stroll to powerhouse to buy some batteries for my CD player... Cue me hanging onto the counter trying to sign the credit slip mid contraction... Oh it was a fun morning :p

If you have the test at 32wks and they find it in your swab but not msu you'll be fine. If it's in both they can give you oral antibiotics then and retest at 36wks and fingers crossed it will be gone. X
