Honey - you can have a show at any point in preg, I think it was MrsMoc that was told that the plug sometimes comes out and a new one forms.
If you want to see one search mucus plug on youtube and you will see one - its gross!
If the person you spoke to at hosp said there isn't always blood then I'm sure they know what they talking about0 -
HI Sami,
fellow rebel here, I've had runny eggs, pate, brie, camembert, medium rare steak and peanuts....but i always make sure i know the source of the meat, and the food i eat is fresh and i'm happy with the research i did on listeria and salmonella so i'm comfortable with the decisions I've made.
Krystal - My scouse Mummy used to make hers in the slow cooker - tis all the same IMHO0 -
Just re-reading my post, it sounds like the kind of one that no-one can answer as it probably all depends on the person really! I've really started to ramble this past week or so, along with generally not making sense, asking stupid questions, being forgetful (left keys in ignition in car for 2 hours in a public car park!) and generally losing my marbles.
And you're brain won't recover - well mine hasn't yet anyway! I visited my mum the other day, and after being in the house for about 15 minutes, DD looked out of the window, and told me i'd left the drivers door wide open! I had locked the car though. :rotfl:
I think the show can be anytime before too. DD1 was a couple of days before, DD2 was after pains had started. But i'm sure i've seen on here it can be weeks before.:beer:0 -
ooh Krystal my oven has a super cool timer setting that switches it off so I put stew stuff in, set the timer and go off where ever safe in the knowledge it won't be burnt to a crisp if I'm late back
best function you can get IMHO
Due to my OCD I couldn't do this - everything has to be off - all plugs, gas and taps! I hate myself for it as I check everything about 20 times before I go out - adds at least 15 minutes onto my morning routine!workinmummy wrote: »All OH could say, was that he had better get out today, because Man United are playing tonight. Men, have fantastic priorities, don't they?
((hugs)) to you!
My OH would be exactly the same but imagine someone who can watch any game of footy! Saturday Everton v Man City (OK he was working but still) then Man Utd v Spurs. Sunday - he watched Arsenal. Monday night we had Newcastle v Portsmouth, Chelsea last night and Man Utd tonight!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
I'm also gonna to be taking pride in my semi-slummy-mummy status when the babies here as I'm not a great beleiver in very sterile environments for babies, me and OH we gross children who insisted to getting into everything as kids and neither of us have any allergies at all, in fact no-one in our families have any major allergies but then i'm convinced thats because all of use were allowed to run around and get grubby whe we were little...
(and i'm lazy and not the cleanest or tidiest person in the world but obviously that's not the main reason!)

Am so antsy I can't settle down and get on with anything... still 3 1/2 hours to go!
I'm a rebel too - haven't given up anything I can think of (I don't actually like blue cheese so that doesn't really count as rebellion, but have definitely stuck with runny eggs, med-rare steaks, brie etc)MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Hypno - totally agree - in fact, still enjoy getting grubby (got fab piccie of DH and me after a particularly muddy MTB ride - by the end we were deliberately crashing through the biggest mud puddles and we were totally covered - the bath afterwards was bliss too!)MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
