Oh Carly, I wouldn't of stood for that... I would of taken everything out of the crate one thing at a time... I gave up with Asda, they made so many mistakes and always dumped everything on the doorstep... I like their substitution policy, but it just wasn't worth it in the end...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

carly - they are supposed to ask if u want them bringing in but never do  I think I'm lucky coz mine always pick up the heavy stuff and hand it to me so I don't have to bend - little angels! if you do order again then make sure you say "you can put them next to the fridge just through there" ;)
and call the cust line and tell them about ur hummus you should get a full refund - make sure you tell them you won't use them again as it was first time and u were soo disappointed, you might get free delivery of some money off ur next order :D

Elastigirl - I was "knicker watching" for the first 12 weeks as well, as I felt so wet from EWCM all the time (and still do actually!)

Just nipped out to Asda on my lunch to see if they had much in the Baby Event. I thought it started today, but there didn't seem to be anything advertised, and bottles etc weren't reduced. They had deals on nappies, but I didn't think it was anything more than their normal offers (although I am clueless at the prices of stuff like that at the moment). Anyone else been along or heard anything?

    Thanks!

Our ward is fine about my phone charger and laptop, just as well!!!

I have been wearing non underwired maternity bras for a few weeks now, im an F cup. I must admit it is a bit more comfortable. My only gripe is that the wired bras keep them up and make them look neater iyswim. This is also the first I have worn the non wired in about 16 years

Im wearing the full support type from mothercare, but the support is pants compared to my own underwired bras.

yeah maybe i should've taken the items out (some of which were in bags some were loose) rather than carry the heavy crates through to the kitchen (i even lifted them onto the worktop!) but then i was hoping to induce labour too!! lol. As for the hummus do u think i have a case for a refund seeing as the order was picked thurs and use by is mon? how much use by date is deemed as reasonable??
  • what does EWCM stand for? I can guess what you're talking about but cant think of the words

Greent, have you have the birth plan chat with the midwife yet? Mine asked me if I'd packed my bags... I said I had a list of things I needed to buy to put in my bag... Did that count? She didn't look too impressed...

    Lol!!!

Hah!!! My notes have so little info in it's unbelievable - I haven't been given half the leaflets I'm meant to, I haven't had any discussions about any pregnancy issues (eg bleeding, which I had several times - and texted midwife about and had no response), I've had no birth plan/ feeding discussions and there are very few details in about previous pregnancies and labour - most of which I've completed. Details about my Anti D injections aren't completed, nor are my blood results or scan details. My notes are a joke. I've seen my real m/w twice and am not due to see her again until I'm overdue:confused::confused: Although I have an appt next week with (another) covering m/w. Good job I know what to expect, as I'm not convinced first timers are treated any differently!!

MrsT & MrsM - thanks for the bra info. I will definitely re-think my bias towards wired bras as the pregnancy goes on...it's only early stages now, but I like to plan ahead! :) The wireless one just felt floppy (lol) and shelf-like, so I instinctively didn't like it at first, but you're right it probably will be tons more comfy once i have massive baby (and boobs!!) inside. will definitely get some soft cup bras from Bravissimo for nursing - but that's quite a long time from now :D

elasti - sounds like things are going well for you! :T sticky dust for all of us in the 1st trimester...I know it will go well!!

sooooo tired today - wish there was somewhere to nap at work - would've rather slept than had lunch, which is deffo saying something!!
