He's 5, can swim great but I would hate for him to be left behind whilst the rest of the class go.

I am 36+3 but have been booked in for an ECV (External Cephalic Version)tomorrow to get bubs the right way round. However if anything goes wrong I will be taken in for an emergency CSection. I have packed my bags with the following to put in the car just in case:

5 big knickers
2 packs of maternity pads
2 pairs of big baggy trousers

3 0-3 month outfits (have been told baby is already measuring 40weeks last week)
Lots of socks (as we dont have scrathc mits)
Going home outfit
OH's Bag
2 Tshirts

Deoderant
Camera

I started to pack my bags for a normal birth but assume I need pretty much the same for a C section.... or am I wrong?
Yes I am starting to freak out that something may go wrong, but managing to hold it together... probably till they say "somethings gone wrong" hen will mega freak.. hohum.

What about a going home outfit for you Tickle?
I have taken the bedding out of the drier that's been in there a week... Have put the wet washing in... And put a new load on... And cleared one work surface (the one that gets used as a dumping ground)
Shopping is due anytime after the next 7mins and I still need to clean the top of the oven, the other work surface, around the sink, and the floor... Just had to sit down for a min...
Had constant heartburn since yesterday, nothing is shifting it... Plus I have a headache and surprise surprise, hubby's taken all the paracetamol over the weekend... Just not feeling good today
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Pretty sure bag for CS will be very similar to normal delivery, they only keep u in for about 48 hrs these days.
other suggestions for the hosp bag:
lip balm (or use the vasaline)
drinking straw/cartons of drink (for when you're in strange positions - although not really needed for a CS!)
Mags/books/mp3 player
tens machine and batteries
I've packed cotton wool for baby - do u think the hosp will provide this? my bag is so full need to remove anything thats not needed!0 -
Tickle hope all goes well - You can't have yours before mine after all
It's not fair for starters! :P
