Hi Jillie - OH and I have agreed that I'll see if one of GP's in work can have a listen tomorrow unless I get any pains later on.
Top of my uterus has moved, I used to be able to see right inside my belly button but now it has gone behind my belly button and I can't see in it anymore!

I think the cot would look fab in a yellow nursery - I have said I'm not painting mine but FIL offered to decorate it for me so I might let him. MIL has bought the cot but I still have to pay for it and she will pay me back in 10 days. Not great with mortgage and bills coming out on Thursday but I can transfer funds from my Mat Leave savings to tide me over.

Need to work out how much I've managed to save this month - should have £220 from OT and then anything else left over this month.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Always wonder how people can be so bloody inconsiderate when it comes to noise. I tend to be very petty and when my neighbour has one of her parties and music is blaring (and always that boom boom boom rave crap) all night. I turn my stereo up really loud in the morning when I am leaving for work at half six in the morning and push it so it is right up against her wall, put my crappest cd on repeat and go out with a smile on my face. (This is most effective when dh and I are both working long days and dont get home until after 9 pm!!!)
    Coming soon............
Brand new baby first showing in November!
Brand new baby boy (Matthew) born 3 weeks early weighing a diddly 5lb 4 oz!!

thats fab. oh mum keeps saying ' we'' pay for this and that' but i'm a bit nervous about mentioning it. i may however take the page from the catalogue and when we see her next weekend show it and see what she says. i noticed on the website link that the price is there till 19 may. so fingers crossed i might be lucky!!

19th May is good - I was panicking that it would go off offer or go out of stock.

I suggested to MIL that she could buy something each week she went to Tesco or ASDA like a pack of wipes or nappies, or baby oil/bath stuff/shampoo etc. So that we have a stockpile once baby gets a bit older. This was last week.
She went straight out and bought a load of stuff in one go.
They gave us £25 towards the first lot of stuff we bought and now want to pay for everything we bought last week as well as the cot.
It's great and I am grateful but at the same time I feel awful that everytime I open my mouth about something they want to pay for it.

I really need to do some housework but I also want to rest - OH has banished me to sit in the conservatory and not move so that's what I'm doing for now but don't want to waste the day!
