I had 2 bouncy chairs with Aimee, I kept one by the bath so we could bath together then I could pop her in the chair to finish washing myself afterwards... This time I'd rather have a rocker chair than a bouncy chair... They're a bit better because you can adjust the position of the back so they can lie flat or sit up right...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Oh, free ads - used to get that when I lived in Wales in fact bought my first car from Free Ads. I will have a look an see if there is one for this area - have OH's weight bench to sell as well and I don't think eBay will do them justice.
Thanks tink
I didn't know if it was a welsh thing or not hence why I said - I think they do them in under other names in different parts of the country? You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
we used jacksons bouncy chair loads and have kept it for this one but im now thinking a swinging chair might be better, what do you think? i like the look of the fisherprice rainforest take along swing, ive been watching a few on ebay.
I went to an NCT sale this morning, got loads of cute outfits really cheap, i did get a few blue outfits even though we dont know what we are having yet! i just cant resist a bargain and im sure it will be a boy!0 -
I had a bouncy chair for my little girl and it was invaluable, definitely helps them be part of things and be able to see around the room when they're not able to hold their head up.
Lots of professionals (around the time I had my little girl) seemed to be saying that swing chairs were not a good idea as they are being taught not to rely on them for comfort so I didn't entertain the idea at all.
However, she was a colicky baby and screamed none-stop virtually for 4 months - I literally spent hours and hours every day standing infront of mtv (to save my sanity) rocking her back and forth as that was the only thing that comforted her. Everytime I stopped or tried to sit down with her she would start up again.
This time, they're the first thing I've been eyeing up in the catalogues!0 -

Hi everyone,
Spent today at The Baby Show in Glasgow. MIL won tickets in a competition, so entry was free. It was quite useful - we still feel we are a bit too early to comit to some purchases/decisions, but we got to play around with a few prams which we hadn't seen in real life yet. We looked at the Brio Sing, which is apparently quite new in this country. If you like things like the i-Candy Apple/My 3/4/Mura etc, it was similar to this, but folded much flatter. Is the easiest folding pram that we have come across so far! It's a consideration (along with loads of others!). Only thing we bought was some organic baby wipes because I really didn't want to come away empty handed!
On the subject of bouncy/rocker chairs, we bought a bouncing one from Mamas & Papas. We thought the bouncy ones looked easier for baby to have fun bouncing themselves. That's what put us off the swing. We also didn't feel it was something we wanted to spend too much money on so although this doesn't look the sturdiest, I am sure it will be as good as the more robust looking one. It's the same design as this but a differnt colour with Winnie the Pooh theme:

Hope you have all been enjoying the sun today. It was lovely up here!

P.S. Congrats to Mrs T!!! :T0 -

Can walk a lot better. Can't bend or stand for more than a minute and my back is stiff, my muscles all round my back, sides and bump are very sore and been getting BH like mad. Which is an improvement.Bit fed up though.
