Hello ladies and bumps!
Elle- I spoke to my MW about piles as my mum has made me paranoid by saying "dont worry almost everyone gets them when you give birth 1st time". MW told me thats not true, just my mum scaring me  But if I want to prepare for the worst... I need to increase pelvic floor excercises, eat more fibre, and if I do get piles before bubs arrives she recommended Germaloid cream as it has anaesthetic in it! HTH
Vitamin K issue... I am going to have it, my half brother had problems bleeding when he was born despite having the injection and we were told that he would have been "more serious condition" had he not had the initial injection... so thats persuaded me.
Today had my scan, sonographer fel it necessary to list on my notes "technically difficult scan due to maternal BMI" now I have seen this woman before and she does it every time, but the other sonographers dont feel obliged to do this... grrrr.
Baby is still breech with one leg flexed and one leg extended so its foot is next to its head :rotfl: looked strange on screen. Obsteatrician has booked me for an ECV 28th, and given me the option of vaginal breech delivery despite MW saying it wasnt an option due to my BMI... I like my consultant, she rocks.
Any who hope every one else is having a good day. I am off to make mushroom soup!

Evening all
Welcome Myatt
Hope everyone has been doing ok and enjoying todays sun.
I have had a constant stream of visitors today which although tiring has been lovely. DH came early this morning and treated me to a fry up in the hospital restaurant. I realised it was the first time we have been alone without kids since I was admitted. It was good to talk through some of my fears with him.
On the subject of piles, I had them late on in my last preg. I didnt know what they were, but they were really painful. I ended up in casualty. It was really embarrassing explaining to DH the diagnosis :rotfl:0
