i spent ten days in Rome on honeymoon (before going on to Venice) and I found it quite disappointing! i wish we'd only spent about half the time there really although the food was great so we ate well! So if you do go back don't go for ten days.
I'm sorry people are feeling pants. I'm feeling good, partly cos i have nice new clothes to wear and partly cos I just feel good!
Working today but just watching ANTM first before i get back to it.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

...Sami - what no more?!! I'm in 2 minds about fostering. Mum has done it for 15 years and whilst it's great, I was pushed out by foster kids who made my life hell and wanted to have my mum and step-dad to themselves. I ended up moving in with my dad after about a year of them starting fostering. Might still look into it though especially if I do eventually become a SAHM.
Supposed to be a scorcher today but sun's gone in! Roll on 4.30pm!!:D
I WILL have 4 children eventually!! I love the little terrors
I'm selfish in that I want to have a remotely sexy body while I'm still young enough to show it;) but at the same time I'm caring enough to know that there are lots of kids out there that need a loving home :A
I'd be interested to know more about how you felt with foster kids around tho coz that is one of my worries0 -
On the issue of whether to tell people before 12 weeks, I definitely found with my first pregnancy that having told friends and family meant that when we lost it we had a lot of support which was invaluable, as being able to talk to people on here was also really useful.
So we did tell close people again before 12 weeks and I would do so again.
It is hard when we see so many people on here losing thier babies, but it's better IMO if they have support available on this thread than feeling they shoud suffer alone because they weren;t 12 weeks.
A baby isn;t any more valid because you hit the 12-week mark and I think it's even more important to have some kind of support if you lose in the early stages because IRL people are often a bit 'oh, well, it wasn;t really a baby yet was it? You can have another one' which is incredibly hurtful when you are going through miscarriage.
So I say everyone should post when they want to and we can support those who don;t make it and celebrate with those who do.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

OUCH!! Just had to take up the curtains for the bedroom then iron them and now my back is burning like hell
They smell bloody gorgeous though! (Of Comfort pure, it's lush!!)
I've got a HUGE pile of ironing to wade through, it'll probably take me all day and night cos I can't stand at the ironing board too long with my back.
Gonna sort my bag properly tonight. I did my first Asda shop online yesterday which is coming tomorrow, so I ordered stuff like Ribena cartons and Snickers bars to keep Steve going while I'm in labour lol
I was up early this morning which is SO unlike me then I just wanted to get stuck into everything, so I think my nesting instinct is here! Just wish I could move around better to get all the jobs done which need doing ~ no biggie though, Steve can give me a hand over the weekend as he'll be off call then, thank God!
I still can't believe I'm going to have a baby ~ even Steve said last night it still doesn't feel real. Only 16 days to go now ~ hope he's not late, keep your fingers crossed for me! xxTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
My ironing pile is growing ever bigger... I can't stand at the ironing board for longer than 2 items... And I can't sit in the chair and do it so well anymore either, baby gets in the way... Plus hubby has knackered the ironing board so it's constantly trying to close itself... Might send him to wilko on Saturday to buy me a new one!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
