Morning ladies
Well Roo's room looks gorgeous! The Pooh pictures are fab! Worth every penny and Dh is delighted with them too (good job as he paid for them!).
Then at 2 I have MW appointment - I'm hoping if there was anything in my samples on tuesday they will have updated the surgery but who knows... Also crossing fingers that it's the nice MW and not the miserable one
Got up a couple of times during the night and it was SO painful! It's been bad for a while but my god it was bad last night! I nearly burst out crying the second time but poor DH really needed his sleep so I just shuffled as quietly as I could to go have my widdle and then back to bed...
MILs and FILs... well DH gets on with his very wellTypical that my parents are reasonably balanced sensible people lol MY MIL... well I'm sure she means well but my word can she be interfering at times! We're not to use any Johnsons products on the baby (soddin well shall if I please to do so!) and not to feed her this that and the other (I get to the point where I probably would just to spite her!) as she'll get allergies etc... ARGH! Now if she said nicely about make sure you look into sensitivity of the skin etc if you're going to use Johnsons etc instead of TELLING me I wasn't going to use something... maybe then I'd listen.... maybe
DHs dad isn't on the scene though and isn't likely to ever be so I guess that's something at least
As for letting everyone know... DH has a list set up on his phone to let know about Roo arriving - a few will get a phone call like our parentsand my mobile will be with me so I can update facebook lol

Oh and DH is older than me but only by 4 years
that's a record for me I think
think the last 3 were 5yrs, 7yrs and 10yrs older lol There is definitely something to be said for men with experience
hehehehe
DH has plenty of experience to make up for being by far the youngest bloke I've dated (let alone married!)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Oh, I can do better than that with my MIL!
My youngest was diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum when she was 2. My MIL read a magazine article which said that autism was caused by gluten and milk products in the diet, and could be completely cured by cutting these out, and insisted that we do so. I got the original research papers on this, spoke to the professionals who had diagnosed and were monitoring the child, and we both came to the conclusion that this would be of benefit to my child (as she had no obvious gut problems, and the way her autism manifested was not the same as the way in which autism manifested for kids for whom this approach does sometimes work). We really spent a lot of time looking into it, and investigated it carefully before deciding not to pursue it. MIL had a huge argument with me, told me that I was too lazy to try it, and that if my child were diabetic I would have no alternative but to modify her diet.
As a result of the bullying we did try a gluten-free dairy free diet for our 2 year old for 6 months which was a complete nightmare as she was already a picky eater, but the things she liked and were good for her like pasta, bread, cereal, yoghurts, cheese, etc were all completely out, and going out anywhere with her became a complete nightmare as she could eat virtually nothing on a cafe menu. After 6 months of careful diary keeping and not breaking the regime once it was clear that there was absolutely no change, at which point MIL said perhaps we hadn't been doing it long enough and we should try for another 6 months . Needless to say we didn't and she hasn't presumed to dictate about something like this ever again!0 -
Morning folks... Felt horrendously sick last night when I went to bed... Think the only thing that stopped me throwing up was the knowledge I couldn't run to the loo (and we have new bedroom carpet) I was the same as you Tine, only it started before I even went to bed... I blame it on the 2hrs sitting on hard chairs at the hospital... Hubby asked me my plans today... I truthfully told him I plan to do a lot of sitting around in the hopes my hips and back ease up a bit...
Oh, and I have no idea what baby is doing this morning but it hurts! I think it's either having a growth or trying to shift around or something, had a couple of pains that feel like period pain... And if baby moves at the same time it hurts even more! (Because hubby thinks it at every twinge there's a tiny tiny part of me hoping it might be early labour... But there's no way I can be that fortunate...)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Morning gals,
On the subject of bums - my bowels are all topsey turvey. Past couple of days I have been about 4 times and (TMI alert) it is all soft and mushy but my diet has been normal ie not eaten spicy food/iron tablets etc. Think, from reading books, it is just my body's way of naturally clearing the path ready for labour. but, how much bog roll??? Not verty MSE! :money:
Braxton Hicks during the night is so so bad. It is getting pretty exhausting now.
There is 8 years between hubby and I and he was a manager where I worked and I had only been there 3 months when we got together almost 7 years ago. Age never been a problem though - more mature!Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T0 -
Have I started an age debate, oops! DD's OH is very nice, I just imagined that someone of his age should have a house etc, some decent savings perhaps. Suppose as a mum you worry but she is very happy.Too many children, too little time!!!0

Morning ladies and bumps :hello:
Well my cold seems to be clearing itself up a bit, but I still cannot breathe through my nose at all
Scary moment though ....
I think my bump has dropped and when I was walking Jasmine into school this morning it really did feel like something was trying to climb out of my foof
I am only 31 weeks and don't feel like bubs has engaged, but am a lot lower than I was and there is a bit of pain down there !!!:o
Am going to see if it is still thee later and give the MW a ring, I bet it is absolutely nothing and all in my head though:doh:
Hope everyone has a nice day, I plan to do very little this morning, followed by getting my hair cut, followed by more doing nothing !!!
Sounds very strenuous doesnt it :rotfl::rotfl:The two best things I have done with my life
