My brother's b-day is 3rd Jan, which I think is just about far enough away from Christmas. My step-sister's is the 24th Dec which I think must suck, but she doesn't mind!
Just phoned my dad and told him the news so close family all know. It feels like a huge relief and they are all thrilled. I just feel so much better for telling him. How silly is that? I'm 26, married, a home-owner and was scared about telling my Dad I'm pregnant! Bloomin pregnancy hormones.
Planning to watch Come Dine with Me on C4+1 in a bit as apparently it's a good'un. I just love that show!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Right, Im not asking for medical advice..just want to compare. At my 12 week scan, baby measured 55mm. All the websites and info Ive read about babys development at that stage seem to suggest a larger measurement is normal?
I'll let you know tomorrow :j:j:j 12-wk scan at 11:30am :j:j:j:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

My b-day is 30th of Nov and I always HATED people giving me "birthday/christmas present" because the presents were never any bigger or better - just that I ended up with ONE instead of two in the year... and when you're 7 that's really unfair
I'm not going to try to catch up with the rest of the thread - you lot talk too much lol
Did some more gardening today, not much but feeling knackered! Didn't sleep well at all last night - so looking like death warmed up today.
Managed to mosey down the 'lotment today as loads of the able bodied people were clearning the parking area and others were measuring up the plots etc so thought I'd at least go and be moral support.
Then home to potter in the garden and cook dinner eventually - as i was serving it I looked down and realised my boobies had both leaked! DH thought it was hillarious for some reason... I didn't - I'd just had a bath and put a clean nightshirt on!Not feeling amused... he'd already built up brownie points though so I can't get mad at him... he went to the icecream van earlier for me and got me a 99
Problem is... Now I fancy another one!! :rotfl:
Anyway off to bed I think - I'm cream crackered after last nights lack of sleepDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

The woman who just said 'It's poussin, the smallest chicken you can get that's not a pigeon' makes me think it will be a clasic. Where do they find these people?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Okay, so following our scan on Friday my OH decided to tell his shift at work about the baby yesterday. He's a policeman, and there are 9 people on his shift. Turns out 2 other PC's wives are having babies within a week of my due date. How mental is that? Three out of nine having a baby within a week of each other!!! And a fourth's wife is having a baby next month (but obviously we knew about that already).
Maybe it was something they all ate?!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I personally would hate to have my b-day around Christmas (poor bean!
). I love my summer bday because then it's less between presents! hahahahah
OH and I both have January birthdays so we decided to have a summer baby cos January birthdays suck. But now I worry about it being the youngest in its year at school - there's no perfect time is there? DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
