Well done feelie, and persevere with that feeding, you're doing a fantastic job :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Congrats Feelie!!! Toby is such a lovely name and he is just gorgeous! xxxxxxxx
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
  • Oh yes - forgot to say about the feeding - just keep him on the breast for as long as possible, it's a brilliant excuse to keep all the cuddles for yourself ;)

Also - I found that making suckling noises myself helped to remind Benjamin that he had a boobie in his mouth for a reason (it still works when he is being a lazy little b00ger!!)

And don't forget, they all lose weight to begin with...I freaked when Benjamin lost 11.3% of his body weight in the first 3 days - I was convinced that my boobs weren't producing and he was starving...then my milk came in and WHAMMO - pammie-boobies and happy baby!!

Congratulations feelie. Beautiful baby and glad the birth went well.

Congrats too to GISI, and lovely scan pic! Sorry the sonographer wasn't nicer though.

I had an antenatal appointment today. I am still looking absolutely massive and when I asked the doctor he agreed I was big, and said that my uterus is measuring big for my dates. He was speculating that this is because the baby is growing faster than anticipated but says we will know more after my scan next month. So obviously I am still panicking quietly that there's more than one in there!

Afterwards went for a little shop, and bought a couple of nice maternity T-shirts from H and M, then went to Rigby and Peller to see if I could pick up a few more bras. When I was measured about 6 weeks ago, all the sales assistant produced were these industrial looking boulder holders, and said that was what I would need from here on in. This time though, a different sales assistant managed to find 3 really pretty bras in my size, which I'd have considered buying even if not pregnant and huge, so am feeling more glam now. Then pootered off to John Lewis, as I thought it would be nice to buy something for the baby (have only had the Sainsbury free pack up until now) now that I've got to 16 weeks and heard the heartbeat too. I managed to get a starter pack of Bambino Mio nappies (12 nappies and 3 wraps) for £32, which I thought was quite good. I haven't used re-usables for either of my other two, but at that kind of price its worth trying them to see whether me and baby can get on with them. I think JL must be discontinuing their re-usable ranges though, as these were the only re-usables there and they were all heavily marked down. Will try and pick up a few trial packs for other makes too. Also had a good browse of pushchairs and a test drive of the Bugaboo Bee, which I was adamant I didn't want, but actually thought was pretty good in the flesh. The icandy cherry, which I thought I was interested in, was nowhere nearly as nice to "drive", and not so attractive, though a lot cheaper. Finished off with a trip to Clarks to buy some comfy wedges to take me through the summer, and am now home and shattered!

Me and OH mad it more complex.. if its a girl I get to choose 1st name he gets to choose 2nd name...if its a boy he gets to choose 1st name and I get to choose 2nd name. That way we both decide for either! :D

sat here munching my way through a box of grapes mmm! Having half an hours rest as OH has just got in and banished me to the sofa as he came in and caught me cleaning the dyson with the dyson :rotfl: He thinks I have gone cleaning mad! He's taking Josh off to the park as I am in agony but Im going to go and find a comfy spot on the kitchen floor and give the undersink cupboard a good sorting and cleaning! Oh the joys of nesting - I swear I hate going under there I always find a spider, but the urge is just over whelming!

Awwww Feelie, Toby is adorable hun, congratulations to you and hubby!!!!!! Can you actually believe that it's all done and dusted now? Well done to you for being so brave as I know you were panicking about the birth :A

Talking about creams & oils, I'm gonna make you lot sick now - In 3 pregnancies, I've not got any stretch marks! :p (I do have a tattoo though which beforehand was a pretty daisychain around my bellybutton, but now resembles a wreath of dandelions :rotfl::rotfl:)
