I'm now going to sound like a proper idiot but can someone give me a proper explanation of 'the magic 3'? I keep reading about it but what with abbreviations, 'the dreaded beep' and joining in half way through, I really don't have a clue.
I'm still unclear of all the ons, is there anyway that they could be put at the top of every page rather then me, and I suspect others, having to go back to the first page?
Hi, There's a post here that broclo wrote that should help,
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=20582705&postcount=219and
and sorry, no there is no way to put abbreviations on the top of every page,:beer:0 -

Thanks. I googled it, too & I could only find a recall from pre-Xmas 2008 so I'm hoping it was an old poster, maybe?
As for the below
It wasn't anywhere near the lipbalm in my store, it was hung on a shelf edge in the haircare section. Others have also said similar things about their stores. They seem to be one of those "random" items that get hung wherever they feel like it, although some stores may do the sensible thing & put them near the lipbalms!! I know its a pain walking up & down the aisles, but it is worth it to get 9 tubes for £2.46!! All I would say is, if its not obviously "sold out" from the lipbalm area, try the rest of the store or ask a helpful SA!!
S xxEverything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -

Hi sally06,
I hope you got some good bargains in wilko's /boots this morning. I shall have to keep an eye on the hair accessories and bags too - especially if they go down 75%!!:D
I didn't have time this morning to have a good look around!!!
I like the bourjois nailvarnish remover too - in fact I have just been using it on my toe nails. I think it's worth 44p!!!
I shall have to save some birthday money if we get a good tillspit on Wednesday - I really hope it is a good one:rolleyes:.....0 -

I liked the voucher best when it included the sanctuary range. You could buy the sachets of face masks and the mini skin care stuff remember?0 -
oooo just thought i'd mention that i heard 2 SAs talking about a new "customer must go away smiling" policy, this was after 1 of them had served someone that had a lot of acm vouchers...good news for us maybe0

Hi Nicalodian. I've found that in Central London, and the West End, several of the No 7 products cost 50p more.
I know my mate said that the Powder definitely scanned as £10.50 at the Bond Street Boots, and I used to "pay" an extra 50p for the Sumptuous Bath Soak, and anything nail related.
I should think the same thing happened to your Peel - HTH.
xx
PS - ...... and the meal deals are 50p extra too, but the upside is that the Powder goes through as free, and then another £10.50 is deducted!0 -
Does anyone shop at either boots in bury?
Not seen it mentioned in any post

Norwich...had a few hours to myself and managed to get the 4 most cental ones. The riverside branch had a stand near the front doors, to the right, with L'oreal GWP - The purple hexagan & black box with gold swirls on it. A couple of signs said free with any L'Oreal purchase.:T Chanced it with one of the lovely trio eyeshadows with a pooey, and went through fine. At end of my trip went back in and got another 1 (as a gift) with an eyeshadow for just £1.20 (after pooey). There was about 6 of the black boxes and a dozen of the purple ones at about 5pm today. I got the black boxes - a liquid eyeliner, a lip gloss thing, some foundation, 2 sample creams & a man's sample cream thing. Box quite pretty as well!
Tracked down 3 of the NC bag sets on normal shelf -£1.23 so maybe have more out back/stock up overnight.:T SEL has been reduced. Clearance at back of store was pretty carp - overpriced, and tatty.
Castle Mall - had the NC bags in 2 locations but scanned in case someone else wanted any and they are about £5 - SA confused as to why they had not reduced them if Riverside had. About 6 reduced items at the end of a shelf, near tills - can't remember as not worth noting! Quite a few hair accessory reductions - 50% off & some reading glasses reduced.
Store over the road from mall had several different reduced deodorants and then some No 7 reduced by the doors, to the left - the blusher GWP & mens roll up holdall both at £6.50, the spring eyeshadow set for about £6 and a couple of other bits.
Finally to the last one in town, the one with the SS tills, but no chance to use as nothing there worth bothering about & the clearance stand has still not reappeared.
Didn't see any of the lipgloss trios in any of the stores, just to save anyone a special trip and I did look very carefully for you all as got mine from Lynn the other day!
Overall happy with my bits, and hubby managed to get a couple of samples out of my L'oreal GWP'S :rotfl:but not worth a special trip IMO, except for the GWP's in the riverside - & there is free parking in the area for 2 1/5 hours. HTH0
