    Hi all, not been too well lately, and been Confined To Barracks, so I was very pleased today to be taken out "for a short drive" - so naturally I asked if we could go to Boots!

    I didn't want to have the Peel, even though I had the voucher, but did want some more P & P Beauty Serum.

    I scanned:

    P & P Serum (£18.50)
    Line Lift (£12.50)
    Powder (£10) Total cost of goods: £41

    Then I scanned:

    Line Lift coupon
    Powder coupon

    and I used my over 60s 10% discount and paid £6.65 for all 3, which I thought was very good value! :j:j

    My friend, the BV, has been doing the Peel/Lift/Powder glitch in London, with London prices, and has been receiving £2.38 change!!

    xx

    Sandra or one of the other regulars: Could you elaborate on the London/London prices?? That's where I got my bits but is there an extra glitch or is it me being a moron lol or is this why my peel showed up as 9.05?

    I love those little pots too, thank you! My grandma used these for years, until very recently I still had the remains of her last little pot - the container was made of card, and the blusher itself was rather bright - original price sticker of 20p from the local chemist was still just about visible on the back - shows you how old it was 7f018eb7b301a66658931cb8a93fd6e8.gif This is probably going to sound really sad, but sometimes when I miss her I give my little blusher pot a sniff - it smells just like she used to :)

    That doesn't sound sad at all. I keep a bunch of little things around that my family left for me so that I am reminded of the ones I love. I still have pots and pans from my great aunt that remind me of the times she used to cook for us children (when I was young, of course!) ;) Sorry for being a bit offtopic with this post!

    Hi,

    If you go back a couple of pages on this thread, to page 39, and read on from post number 762, you'll get some good explanations to answer your question :j.

    I;m sure the glyco peel said 8 pounds something on the ATM voucher but came up at 9.05.

    Says savings of 29.15 including 9.05 Kiosk save coupon and 13.20 Coupon link save.

    The 9.05 is London prices I'm afraid.

    Kew

    Has 2 sets of the NC 3 bag collection for 1.23, and one of the Boots world travel bag for 4.ish. No clearance stand. No reduced SELS for deodorants - was flying, so couldn't check.

    Richmond

    No NC bags. Had some reduced deodorants - So..? Desirable 49p but on BOGOF and hedkandi body spray 63p, and men's deos (didn't pay much attention to these).

    Had four of the Scholls Party Pack for 2.00 ea, thanks OP. Remember for these that they are BOGOHP, so 2 packs for 3.00 (all that was left after I saw a SA with a basket of about 10 going upstairs). Little clearance stand near the pharmacy:

    - 17 Special Edition blusher (not on .com) for 1.00; very very pretty with swirly bits;
    - No7 nail polish (1.00);
    - No 7 summer bronzer mousse (again, not on .com) for 2.50;
    - some bits and bobs.

    Thanks Sally and Nine Tails. Do you know, I never realised that but have often wondered why my buys never seemed to tally up.

    At least !!!!!! turpin wore a mask eh but still a good deal all in all.

    Off topic, but I should've looked into this sooner: Can you use Tesco clubcard deals at restaurants on a Friday? I didn't see any exclusions so I assumed we could. We're heading out soon for an early dinner for my b-day (also leaving early because I want to stop at Boots first, and I'd rather spend money on goodies than the meal, hence clubcard vouchers, lol).

    Happy birthday Skibster, hope you have a fab day :bdaycake:

    :wave:Hi everyone,

    Just got back from town and a quick visit to my local Boots (saving my energy/money for my birthday shopping/bootsing in London on Tuesday!!:D) I popped into Wilko's too and they were reducing their table lamps and a few other things which were just inside the entrance down to 75% and when I went to the back of the shop they had a clearance stand which had a few things half price but my main bargain was a pack of 4 heinz baked beans for 53p - I picked up 2 cause I couldn't carry any more but still a few left!!!:D

    Anyone spot any good bargains in London (gwp, etc...) over the weekend especially near Kensington then please let me know so I know what/where to look when I go on Tuesday (have a busy day booked!!!):j

    Have a great weekend everyone - especially my local Bootsers... Rats09, sally06 and Dee753 - thanks for all your help.. :A

    Hi jemclajess:) I was in our local this morning too (and wilko):D

    I was on the look out for boujouis nail polish remover. The one everyone else hates, including DD:confused: but I like it:DI found 4 on the shelf - I grabbed all 4;)I saw a glass/plastic nail file, but I thought it was a bit rubbish, so left that.

    Clearance shelf is pants and like you said jem, no prices on anything:confused:then I spotted a load of reductions on hair accessories and bags etc...everything had a half price sticker on. The whole section is being reduced. I'm going to wait though, incase they reduce them further;)75% off would be good:)

    I got the last pk of 17 wipes and a nail polish extra for 99 points:jI think the 17 nail polish range is being repackaged (why else would Mr B give nail polish away for free:rolleyes:) I saw some on the shelf. It looks very cheap and nasty. I prefer the old shaped bottle:rolleyes:

    I do hope we get some interesting ACM vouchers next week and a shiny new voucher, that is a goodie as opposed to the current pooey. I'm sick of spending money when using vouchers. I want lots of freebies:rotfl:
