the maxfactor black mesh gwps have vanished in boots high strt. saw them yesterday but they've hidden them :(

and boosters, if you see the nc bags sel but the shelf is empty dont be afraid to ask a random sa wondering around. they probably will have loads in the stock room.

got 2 today and 1 previously so 9 separate bags :)

Sorry not sure if already posted....

saw a RECALL NOTICE for the Lee Stafford Box of Tricks in my local the other day. (Didn't read what the problem is as was dashing).

    HTH
This is the only one I can find but it's a year old
    http://www.pat-testing.info/recallnotice/LeeStaffordHairStraighteners.htm

Boots are still selling the Box of Tricks online and instore, presumably with modified straighteners and there is no recall notice on the website so presumably this applies to an old product

Has anyone else spotted this or can elaborate further? I've just checked the "Recall" page on .com & its not listed there, but I'm using the straighteners on a daily basis & I have a tendancy to leave them on without realising it whilst I'm out at work!! I'm just not awake in the morning!! Any info on what the problem is would be appreciated!

    Suzi xx

Saw three on shelves today still for 17.99, with no notice. Perhaps check with CS in the morning?

Thanks balletshoes, Im off to Notts 2morrow, Sat is the only day I get to myself, well, me and my mother actually, Im trying to teach her the bootsing ways. She loves a bargain too. Anyway, I was going to see if I could get any NC bags, so thanks for the update on those.
Just wanted to ask, did they still have the putting sets? I got one last week and it looks fab, so I would like to get another for my dad.
    Thanks in advance :D

There are still putting sets in the Vic Centre.

You might get the NC bags in the Broadmarsh - I did see a SEL for them there. The price on the SEL was £2.45 though. I guess you'd have to ask a SA if they have any more in their stockroom.
Broadmarsh also has a good few reduced SELS on the normal shelves for various different deodorants - most of the shelves were empty, but they may stock them up again tomorrow.

They are with the lip salve/balm things.

Thank you, that was the shelf I looked on, so they must have sold them all.

Ask an SA next time you are there as there were only 2 on the shelf for me (which is no good for a 342 deal!) and the SA went out back and found me another one.

I've just worked out what todays shop should have cost me (without 342's, free with purchase and before reductions)! I paid £7.89 for 3 x no17 wipes (3 varnishes free), 2 x nc bags & 3 nivea lipglosses and it's full price value is £42.12 :D

I'm now going to sound like a proper idiot but can someone give me a proper explanation of 'the magic 3'? I keep reading about it but what with abbreviations, 'the dreaded beep' and joining in half way through, I really don't have a clue.
I'm still unclear of all the abbreviations, is there anyway that they could be put at the top of every page rather then me, and I suspect others, having to go back to the first page?

Use the "search this thread" button and put in magic, all lower case, and all the posts mentioning this should come up. Its impossible for any "glitch" to be put on the top of each page as apart from the logistics of someone knowing when the page is going to turn, everyone views with a different number of posts per page.

Jem, What's gwp, etc. If you elaborate I can have a scout around if I get time maybe.

    Hi there,

    :jMany thanks for your offer.
I don't know what GWP's are still around in any stores (particularly the many London ones!!) but I was thinking about any of the old Olay GWP's, MF GWP's, L'Oreal GWP's or Vichy GWP's or even (which is very unlikely) any Gillette Putting sets - anything that might go through free really ....:D Anything on clearance too would be great....
I will have some birthday money to spend but if I can come away with one or 2 freebies that will make my day!!!
Don't worry if you don't get time....
    TIA:A
