BBB I don't think the Line Lift voucher works the same way as the Highlights one... if the above example is followed and if the Line Lift is already free on 342 then the system won't take away another £12.70 as the free Line Lift voucher won't b accepted by the tills (I think :o plz correct me if I'm wrong); so probably, if my assumption is correct, it's better to purchase

    Glyco £17.60
    Line Lift £12.70
Another item value less then Line Lift to go FREE on 342 (say for example an item of £10)

    The charge would b then:

Glyco £8.80 (1/2 price with voucher)
Item of £10 (Free with 342)
    Line lift (Free with voucher)

Thus total to pay would b £8.80? Again apologies if I'm incorrect... :o HTH

I think your assumption is correct - it does only seem to be the Highlights voucher that deducts the amount even if the Highlights goes through as the free item on 342

I think it may work now though as the line lift voucher was previously beeping whereas it isn't now. Usually even when you are getting the 3rd item free it will accept a voucher for this - remember the No7 glitch around xmas. Maybe I am wrong but is worth a try x

    Hi sally06,

Just wanted to check but is it changeover on the 21st?
I thought it was the on the Wednesday 22nd cause it's my birthday on the 21st and DD no1 is taking me to London for my birthday and I was hoping to use my magic 3 vouchers on the SS tills that day!!
Please tell me I'm right or I'll have to chance my luck in our local this week instead and we both know how hard that is!!
Sorry for the chat... must get back to scoffing my easter eggs... I have over 40 days of eating no chocolate to make up for!!!

The current acm vouchers are valid until 21st April - so using them on 21st will be fine.

Just a quick question whilst I sulk ( Boots + retail park were so busy today we couldn't even park , Preston Deepdale). Has anyone actually used the No7 Glycolic Peel yet? It's just the no 7 SA has put me off a bit by saying that she was going to try it, but as it contains acid she was staying well clear!! It's now still looking at me in it's plastic box :o

    BTW Happy Easter ! :j:D
knew I'd seen a post about the glycolic somewhere - tracked you down!
I' ve been using it since last year, I have sensitive skin and I've not had any problems with it. I don't use it as often as they say, just once a month or so, and I moisturise well afterwards (I use a botanics vitamin recovery mask, which is really nice) I also don't use it on my cheeks, as they are the sensitive bit. It does leave you skin lovely and soft and 'brighter' if you like. As long as you follow the instructions carefully, and use an spf moisturiser to protect your new skin, you should be fine.
  • Wow what a great thread!
Does anyone know if either of the Boots in Huddersfield have self service tills?

Oh sorry to worry you. :( I just presumed they would be closed as it is a Bank Holiday :embarasse. They should be closed imo as it is a holiday akin to Xmas Day. I was merely joking that us bootsers will be feeling withdrawal symptoms without our fix. Obviously some of you have found ways round this with stores being open. :T

lol dont be silly. I wasnt like seriously worried I just wanted to go today as had a few nice items planned but unfortunately it wasnt to be :-(

They didnt have any of the britney spears midnight fantasy 50ml which is reduced just now to £16 which is typical eh ah well

Got some baby essentials for my wee boy and a few hours out the house so all is well :D

Hope everyone had a lovely easter :D
