Its lovely again here in the North West. We are going to sort the garden out I think. Clear the patio, wash the furniture etc.

Well when I say 'we', I really mean OH, I will advise while cooking the pork for dinner. Anyone want some crackling . yummy ;)

No you don't need a letter (some people are real jobsworths) i had to return a childs toy once in Boots as it was being recalled, and they just gave me a refund and i had no reciept. So i agree stand your ground, i've found boots normally have posters up of what has been recalled.

I'm in the middle of packing as am moving next weekend and found these (does anyone remember about 5/6 years ago) you collected vouchers in boots and used them on soft toys? My son loved them, we have Bugs bunny, Daffy, Taz and a Giraffe, Rhino, Zebra. I'm sure theres more somewhere.
Please bring them back Mr B?????

I collected these and had loads, my mum gave away part of my tweetie and sylvester duo to a little boy, despite there being a bag full of bunnies she would have been more than welcome to.

Don't suppose you have a spare??

I would not suggest swapping as that is not allowed but if anyone has a spare i would be interested in arranging for us both to be happy.

Wow, was finally able to use the magic 3 vouchers with NO beeps! :T:T

    .... snipped
Well done Mum2Hannah. :j I'm really pleased it worked for you, and all of the other successful peeps :)

nikinackyloo - I can't understand some SA's because we all know that the tweezers work with the vouchers. One SA mentioned a points voucher might not work for me - but not only had I not finished shopping, I wasn't even at the till and she didn't know what voucher I had ...! Ho hum ... lol.

Btw, Happy Easter peeps and may all of your troubles be little ones, and your chocolate eggs big ones  :D Laters xx

    All of them?

I am just about to embark on a 35 mile journey to get there!

(Well, Mr T too, but I made such a song and dance with DH that we had to go to that retail park, as opposed to Mr T's 7 miles away :o)

I hope it leads to Scotland Couttsey, as I think it's only up there that Boots and Mr T's are open

But I could be wrong ;) and hope I am :)

    Happy Easter :j :easter_ba:EasterBun:easter:

No going to visit Mr Boots today as they are closed :mad:

Ooooh you had me worried there for a minute. I am planning a trip to boots today to treat myself to some britney spears perfume and some baby bits and bobs.

Just phoned and checked my store is open phewwww :D
  • It is just like Christmas today. Stuck in with no shops to go to. Even cooking turkey today. I can't remember this many shops being shut last year. I know some people feel that shos should be shut on a sunday, but is my OHs only day off today and wanted to go and by kids some clothes etc, so having shops open on a sunday is good for us. I am missing Boots!!!!!!!

Oh sorry to worry you. :( I just presumed they would be closed as it is a Bank Holiday :embarasse. They should be closed imo as it is a holiday akin to Xmas Day. I was merely joking that us bootsers will be feeling withdrawal symptoms without our fix. Obviously some of you have found ways round this with stores being open. :T
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:

    My meal deal today was great value, a smoothie £1.80, sandwich £2.30ish and a pkt of 3 cream eggs £1.26ish = £5.36ish - so paying £2.99 is a bargain!!!!:T

I didn't know you could get a smoothie with a meal deal. I will have to get one next time. I usually grab a coke:D

I hope you are all having a nice Easter:) I've spent most of the day having a mega clear out. My local charity shop won't know what's hit them:rotfl:

Does anyone know if our favourite shop is open tomorrow? TIA:D
