Wow, was finally able to use the magic 3 vouchers with NO beeps! :T:T:T I was a bit confused as many were reporting confused shops, ie, some had been able to use them fine and some with the dreaded beeps... Went to Mr B's armed with my magic vouchers and prayed I'd find all the products in stock (as many times the best plans fall apart when the products r not in stock
) and that I'd b able to put them thru the SS tills... Not only was able to get the products in stock (have noticed tho there's only 1 Gycolic Peel on the shelf @ a time; wonder why
) but also the No7 SA's were not much interested on what I was looking/putting in my basket n e ways... this was a bonus as the store was soooo quite... With my 3 No7 items went to the Bourjois/Loreal stands and took the Bourjois sharpners & the Loreal Kohl eyeliners; then off I went to get the Elle Macperson Food butter & Body Lotion. I also got the Amazon Body Scrub as was not sure about the totals on my receipt & didn't want to run the risk of the till giving me change... Can u all just imagine?! Not only I get the items free but Mr B pays me to take them away, lol!!! Am sure the SA's would not b pleased... :rotfl: Fortunately, the person manning the SS tills (sort off manning as she was @ the manned tills as well) was my fav young SA (tho she doesn't know she's my fav SA)... she's one of those :A who'll scan the vouchers & even if she sees the totals coming rapidly down this will not phase her! She'll just comment on how good of a deal I got!
Unfortunately, a very rare breed... :rotfl:not many 2b seen... :rotfl:With my heart pounding, hands sweating put the items thru & then scanned the coups starting with the dreaded Line Lift voucher which went thru beautifully! Was also, continuously, reading in my mind the scanning of the vouchers in the correct order!
Line Lift/Highlights/Gycolic... The following's what I got:
No7 Peel @ £8.80 (1/2 price with voucher)
No7 Line Lift £0.00 (Free WYS £15 on skincare)
No7 Highlights £0.00 (as Free on 342)
Amazon Mango Scrub clearence @ £1.64
Elle Foot butter @ £3.71
Elle Body Lotion Free with voucher
Loreal Kohl Eye Liner @1.20 (used £2 cosmetic voucher)
As with MIL we used her card so 10% off thus the total to pay was a whopping.... £2.60!!!! :rotfl::T:rotfl:And this with 56pts back + £2 cosmetic voucher too! Plz don't ask how the till has worked this out as not had the time to look @ the recpt & figure it out, lol!
My other transactions were for 2 * Bourjois sharpners @ £1.95 each so free with £2 voucher and 2 * Loreal Kohl Eye Liners @ £1.20 each after the £2 vouchers...
I was very pleased as not only I got the items free (or most of them) but the dreaded Line Lift voucher beep did not materialize... :T now this is a reason 4 celebration, me thinks...

well done mum2hannah:D
sorry not posted for a while but had my best friend over from Dubai so been busy with her so not done much bootsing:o
central 12, southport - had a line lift and illuminating voucher, but they wouldnt work together:mad: SA not willing to try so left it. She also said I couldnt use my pooie on tweezers - at this point I couldnt be bothered even asking her to try. They had some of the NC bags right by the front door on a huge stand. they also had some of the No7 eye pallets on a last chance to buy stand.
Bootle Strand had virtually nothing yesterday - some mini med bath cremes for 50p and some toothbrushes and condoms on clearance
Southport had that initimate massage thing that someone else posted but only down to £34.** so left it;) joking, I wouldnt have bought it anyway ( or would I ?? lol)
sorry no bargains to report:o0 -

had to pop in to return my dentyl mouthwash - what a palaver, if any one else is going to do that, be prepared for the usual SA knows-it-all carp (sorry to the lovely ones, but I seem to get some right jobsworths sometimes ) Stand firm, you do not need a letter from boots HO (???) tell them you've spoken to cs, you are entitled to a refund because it is a ntional product recall and they should ring cs themselves to confirm it. After all that I was too hot and bothered to have a look around, (it was heaving) but noticed they still have the vichy gwp near the front of the store, and a few of the reduced cosmetics cases left. hth
No you don't need a letter (some people are real jobsworths) i had to return a childs toy once in Boots as it was being recalled, and they just gave me a refund and i had no reciept. So i agree stand your ground, i've found boots normally have posters up of what has been recalled.

Went shopping to Solihull yesterday. Got the last Bourjois tweezers on the shelf and used pooey. One glass file left. Nothing of note on clearance shelf (upstairs).
On way home went to Solihull Retail Park Boots. Noted there were plenty of tweezers there (on makeup stand) and one glass file left. Bought Bourjois nail polish remover and used pooey so 44p to pay. Also bought Max Factor Masterpiece mascara and used pooey. On the way out I was looking at my receipts and noticed I'd paid more than I thought I should for the mascara. So went back in and checked SEL. I'd picked up Masterpiece Max instead of Masterpiece (98p difference) so went back to SA to do a swap and get refund. She gave me a cash refund and didn't ask for my Advantage card. When I got home looked at my receipt and it says As you have not presented an Advantage Card in this refund transaction, we've logged the card number . The points shown below will be removed from the card when it is next used. Points to be removed 28. Goodness knows how they arrived at this as I only received 20 points in the first place! I don't think I shall haggle over 8 points though especially as SA let me put Max Factor gwp through and she gave me another pooey with my refund!
My final shop was Scholl Partyfeet footfile 4.39 and Scholl Partyfeet Invisible gel slingback strips half price so 1.99. It would be good if Mr B could introduce a £2 off Scholl voucher now as there would be some good buys to be had!0 -

Mum2Hannah.
Welldone, what a fab shop, so much stuff, so little spent.
Am hoping to use my Elle Freebie Mailing Voucher and get these:
Elle Foot Butter @ £3.71
Elle Body Lotion Free with voucher
The range has a third off at the moment so it creates a mini price glitch.;)
I think it will work out with £1.89 to pay roughly, so hope it works.:):easter_ba Happy Easter Everyone.:easter_ba
:easter: Hope you all have a great day :easter:0 -

Thanks JT & Nikinackyloo!
Re the Elle mini glitch it certainly works... The body lotion free voucher is worth £7.45 however as there's the 1/3 off offer the body lotion is about £5.58; the foot butter is £3.71 (from £4.95) so the total would be £9.29 - £7.45 (free voucher) which equals to £1.84 to pay for both items! :T0 -

No going to visit Mr Boots today as they are closed :mad:
 All of them?
I am just about to embark on a 35 mile journey to get there!
(Well, Mr T too, but I made such a song and dance with DH that we had to go to that retail park, as opposed to Mr T's 7 miles away)
Hope you all having a lovely Easter, and are full of chocolate! :easter_os:icotbaske:EasterBun ( These smileys are just toooo cute, lol)0
