Does anyone know if boots sells boxes of depilatory spatulas? They look like tongue depressors and you can use them to spread on wax (or activator gel for the Boots Smooth Skin device). ;) If not at Boots, who would sell them? I could order from ebay, I just wondered if there was a way to get them more quickly.
  • I got some Time Delay Radiance Booster a couple of days ago with a voucher and I love it!!

while you were checking out the TC i was checking out Stockport both Peel Centre and Merseyway I had thought of going to TC but could not be bothered with the traffic after work.

There were great bargains there too - men's stuff generally

and for all those peeps whose glycolic pads have run out if you ask in store then they should give you a pack for free :j

all bargains in mersyway branch are on shelves and peel centre has a mixture of clarance at back of sore and shelves

    have a nic weekend everyone

Thanks Mol, might have to do Stockport in the morning then. Was gonna try Crown Point anyway, so its not far down the road to Stockport, especially the Peel Centre. Will report back tomorrow!

Wouldn't bother with a trip to TC, unless you are going for other stuff, too. Hardly anything there, to be honest. The jewellery shelves were practically empty, having 75% off. There were about 5 bags left, but only odds & ends of the other things.

Will report back tomorrow, if anything worth getting. Still hoping the ACM will decide to be kind to me & let me have the Highlights voucher!

    S xx

Suzi, you did far better than me at the TC. I bought some no17 stuff w a measly 50 pts voucher but did get the gwp. Didn't see your travel bag but used the SS till and managed to womble 2 binnies, though SA was busy tidying up around me. But I did go to the little Boots in the nearby retail park (was it you who told me about it?) and they have a selection of cosmetics near the till, lipsticks, lip gloss, some nail varnishes, eye shadows all w blank clearance stickers but they are £1 each and five for £4. I tried the no17 gwp but since only one item was no17, it didn't work, but SA was v willing to try! Paid w points so was v pleased. Got £20 phone topup w points and suddenly acm giving me slightly better vouchers though not the no7 ones. Mum has just (against advice!) posted me her card & her healthclub mailing so I am really hoping that her card gives me the no7 vouchers I need.

    Did I say 'need'??

Not sure why, but No17 trio eyeshadow, though priced at £1 went through till at 50p -- receipt said 'saving 50 pts'.

Body Shop do a wooden spatula for use with their wax, if that is any use :)

Went into my little local Cancer Research charity shop yesterday to ask them to pick up eight boxes after our weekend spring cleaning. Got chatting and they asked if I'd like to donate something for their fundraising day.

Keeping it Boots related - hamper items all from Boots.
Cost? Minimal. Feelgood factor - priceless.

thanks for this. What a great idea:T

many thanks also to the 3 lovely bootsers who I met today in town. It was great to meet up with you all:)

That is a lovely idea Ninetails, i will be using the link to find my local. What a shame though that each little branch feels under pressure to make a large sum of money. I think hampers are the best thing to clear out and refresh our stash's and maybe create a bit of room in our house's!

And I also use the radiance balm daily and find it fabulous. After cleansing, toning etc etc i put the radiance balm on and then my make up straight after and just find my skin looks lovely! hth x
