  • I managed to get 2 loreal mens wrinkle decrease scrubs today. Some shops say £3.00 but I manged to get them for £1.50 each. Wouldn't use the £5 voucher though :(
I may have lupus but it doesnt make me useless! I am a true believer in Karma, and am a typical cancerian. I have a hard outside, but am mushy on the inside.:o
  • Do the new vouchers start yet though? thought they might not start till next week when the old voucher mags run out.

I saw these too, in the mens section at clearance prices.
Had a look at the Wrinklie and it states it can be used with that range (but doesn't state mens).
The till beeped and the SA said Nooo!
Not very fair for all the male customers that buy things at Boots is it. :(

good point looks like the new ones start on the 6th on May, thanks for the tip off:rotfl:

Nine Tails - what a brilliant idea! I know quite a few of us have felt a bit uncomfortable when peeps have requested things for charity hampers - especially as we know we're not supposed to do any of that on here.

In addition, quite a few people have sent items anyway, and never received news of the outcome of the charity-raising event, but so many of us want to do something.

This is a perfect way of helping a charity, and having a good clear-out at the same time! Thanks Nine Tails, for giving us so much info about this.

And I'm sure the Lucky Winner of a hamper containing Glyco-peel, Line Lift and Highlighter, not to mention Time Delay Cream and oodles of Pantene Repair and Protect sachets, and John Frieda Serum, et al, will be thrilled!!!

    xx

I love this product. I was slightly sceptical about it at first and worried that it
would over heat when in use. But my worries were unfounded. It really is
great. I now use it everyday as part of my daily regime. You can get the
cheaper non-heating face wash for 86p with Wrinklie, but the self heating wash
is much better. Give it a try, the results are really good. HTH :)

Do you struggle at all getting this out of the tube though jazzteddy?
I like the effect but the tube always gets all out of shape where I have trouble getting it to squeeze out! Is it just me? Probably:o

Did a quick whizz round the Trafford Centre tonight & picked up a couple of bargains.

No "clearance" that I could see, just spotted a few SEL's with reductions on. Loitered around the No 7 for a couple of mins, in the hope I could engage the SA's into a conversation about the new P&P & grab a sample that they had behind the tills, but no such luck! There was also a tray containing cups of "Champers" on, but didn't see them giving any out!!

I was in a rush, so I didn't split the purchases down, so only one Binnie today! No reduced FCUK or Sanctuary here, either. Sometime, the smaller stores have better reductions, IMHO. Got just one, single beauty offer from the ACM, which is just extra points on Burts Bees - very expensive anyway, so didn't buy any!

    I got:

Boots Travel Holdall £2.45 (rrp £9.79) - the one with the city names on, shame the one with the bottles in had sold out!
Mr Mascara Flannel & Toothbrush set £1.23 (rrp ????)
Boots Heart Pendant £2.00 (rrp £8.00) ) Jewellery marked down
Boots Red Corsage £1.50 (rrp £6.00) ) with 75% off stickers
Sanctuary Spa Facial Sponge 98p (rrp £3.92)
    Time Delay Lip Plumper £2.82 (£7.82 - £5 Binnie)
    Bourjois Mini Mobile Lipgloss (x 2) £3.00 (£3.42 each, but on "2 for £5" then used £2 Poohie = £3 for both)

Total Spend £13.98 (using Poohie & Binnie) Gained a Binnie back & 52 points
Full total £42.37 (PLUS RRP of Mr Mascara set)
    Saved £28.39 (& difference from above - £1.23)

    HTH someone.

    Suzi xx

PS: Still got masses of ACM vouchers looking for good homes!! ;) Still looking for a highlights voucher before the 3-4-2 ends!
Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:

Thanks all and Geordie-Lass, minimoneyme and SandraScarlett. I will make another hamper this weekend anyway to give them loads of time for ticket selling.

DH is very encouraging and is chanting "hamper the stash, hamper the stash" so we can reclaim some room!

But seriously, contact your locals everyone.

ETA: SS - how did you know what the hamper looked like ;)

while you were checking out the TC i was checking out Stockport both Peel Centre and Merseyway I had thought of going to TC but could not be bothered with the traffic after work.

There were great bargains there too - men's stuff generally

and for all those peeps whose glycolic pads have run out if you ask in store then they should give you a pack for free :j

all bargains in merseyway branch are on shelves and peel centre has a mixture of clarance at back of store and shelves

    have a nice weekend everyone
bargain shopping is the only way to shop :j
