Can the above be used on any of the KING OF SHAVES items or does it have to be the ULTRAX thing? Thanks.

Hi Mimi, I used the £1.00 off today on a clearance King of Shaves it was just a normal shave gel, no problems, no beeps. hth

Just back from Bootsing and I got all on clearance, normal shelves:-

King of Shaves Shave Gel £1.96 - used £1.00 off voucher

    Nivea Deodorant Energy Fresh - £73p x 2

    FCUK sport foot spray 50p x 2

    FCUK polished whipped bodycream - 57p x 2

    FCUK polished bodywash souffle - 57p x 2

Fresh Bedtime bath milk - 25p

I also spotted an old No 7 pink boox with a swirly pattern on the top this was priced at £3.00, could not see what was in it so didnt bother.

NC bags were still full price :eek:and so were the berry bags that everyone got for 32p I did check.

Lots of reduced mens stuff, brut, fcuk, king of shaves, hackett, this was all in Nuneaton.

Is that the jewelry box one? If so, that's my fav of all the ones they've had so far! There are lots of goodies inside and the box is so cute and useful -- I keep my sample size mascaras and any other "makeup in waiting" that will fit in there.

Thanks for the infor SARAHDOL75, the gorgeous SALLY06 explained it to me yesterday. Have used it 3 x, tried again today, and the SA was like no, you have to the ULTRALX thing, I was like WHATEVER!

WHITE ROSE: Nothing special at all. Only found some of the men's toiletries with reduced SEL'S. All the footcare seems to have been taken by someone. Both ACM machines have no paper in them, so don't bother printing stuff out.

LEEDS ALBION STREET: Only Hackett with reduced SEL, all other men's items are full priced. All the footcare seems to have been taken again! Clearance section upstairs has vanished too. Such a shame as I wanted some of that funky sellotape.

LEEDS CROWN POINT: This was really funny. Can't remember where this store is, so got on the bus, totally forgot where to get off, and ended up somewhere else. TIRKIZ where were you, you should have come to my rescue! Anyway, eventually managed to find it. Again, no footcare. Saw some men's toiletries, got 2 x KOS with vouchers. Went to a young male SA who put both through in the same transaction. How sweet was he! Asked me where I got the vouchers from. I was like err and said "the Boots website". Had no idea what to say. Someone cleaned out all the sanctuary sachets!

LEEDS MINI BOOTS NEAR MARKET: No footcare. Some men's toiletries on clearance. Went to SA, tried the KOS vouchers. She was like "you ain't bought the oil, so you can't use it". I was like WHATEVER! Couldn't be bothered arguing, so just stomped out.

Male ACM cards have £1.00 off BOTANICS CLAY MASK things, I saw some of these with a reduced SEL yesterday, so if this works, it would cost about £1.50 (reduced SEL was about £2.50 - £1 acm) and then get the 2nd BOTANICS item half price. So it's all good.

Anyway, sorry about the long post. Bootsing gets me very excited. LOL. I need to get out more I know! Have a grand weekend all.

LEEDS BOOTS IN THE SHOPPING MALL: No men's toiletries, but did see some footcare with clearance labels. I think there was some Boots stuff, Lamisil and Daktarin. Not many left though.

And saw some of the NIVEA HAPPY TIME at Quality Save/Home Bargains for about £4.50. Cheaper than Boots if you can't get it on reduced. Also saw heaps of NIVEA VISAGE OXYGEN 50ml things. SEL said £2.00 (RRP £13.99). Again, this was at Quality Save/Home Bargains.

Lots of reduced SEL's in the mens today.

    Men's botanics range
    ted Baker
Fcuk mini's for men didn't see any of the ladies though
    Hackett

combined with the 3 for 2 or bogohp, very good value.

on the clearance rack, were Soap and Glory large purses £1.**, don't remember seeing those for sale in store previously. Hot lemon drinks, no. 7 bits and pieces and some toothbrushes.

It looked like a jewellery box, but it had a plastic wrapper round it and not one of them was open so I couldnt see in it, is it a good buy and what do you get in there.

    Good morning everyone :hello:

Just wanted to drop a note saying that I received my HC mailing this morning. The vouchers enclosed were:

SAVE 10% when you buy any of the Boots anti-allergy bedding range

100 POINTS when you spend £5 on Boots brand first aid products in a single transaction

200 POINTS when you buy Boots Omega 3 Fish Oils

150 POINTS when you buy any Boots brand Vitamin or Herbal product

150 POINTS when you buy Boots Femlieve or Boots Menolieve

SAVE £1 on the Hedrin Range

FREE eyetest at Boots optician when you buy a pair of Boots glasses.

Also, just to clarify the HC situation, the leaflet states that "The Health Club 1/2 price healthcare products offer has now been extended to 31 October 2009".

Looking at the back of the leaflet where it lists the 1/2 price products available, there doesn't appear to be any changes to the previous 6 months (was thinking of mimi when I read this, as you should still be able to get 1/2 price water with your meal deal )

Also, just to throw in a question about the HC...... when I was trying to place an order the other day, the HC discount wasn't showing up for me- but I didn't want to 'unsubscribe' incase I couldn't get back in, and I know that my discount is still working instore . Does anyone know if their discount is working instore but not online too, and is there a way round it? Perhaps I should just ring CS to ask, as technically they should let me back in I assume, as I was already a member when they stopped taking new members. Strange..................

    HTH

    xXxXxXxXx

i tried to order something online with the HC discount and it would not work so rang cs to find out why cos it worked in store the previous morning and was told basically its tough because its being discontinued anyway there was no way for the cs to put me back in even though i should have already been in it iyswim
  • Hi

have any of you guys used the olay total effects self heating skin exfoliator??
i bought it last night but now it just sounds scary!!!
    was £6.84
so only paid £1.84 with £5 voucher
I love this product. I was slightly sceptical about it at first and worried that it
would over heat when in use. But my worries were unfounded. It really is
great. I now use it everyday as part of my daily regime. You can get the
cheaper non-heating face wash for 86p with Wrinklie, but the self heating wash
is much better. Give it a try, the results are really good. HTH :)
