Just bought one of these for my daughter at £39.99 including £30 credit, and the "3" salesman in SuperDrug told us that if we weren't completely happy we could get our money back within 30 days. I laughingly asked if that was still the case if you had used up the £30 of calls, and he said "We are not suposed to tell you this, but YES!!"

gets dusty really quickly and the phone is near on impossible to clean and you cant get other covers

to clean you need a star key screw driver but be warned the screws cross thread quickly...

you cant download any film clips etc due to the 2 mg memory

the joy stick nibbly thing starts to wear out quickly

    but

the colours on the display screen are fantastic

great expandable memory (i have 512mb from hong kong £20 trans flash) which make great for movies and music

with all the features of 3

Had one on contract for the last 12 months, I found it easy to use. Dust was no problem but battery life is pathetic, daily charge needed if you talk more than 15-20 mins it goes flat.
But for £30 with basically free calls up to the cost its good.

Just a quicky but anyone thinking of paying for credit just to get as phone to make 999 calls

You can make 999 on any phone with credit or with out credit

You can make 999 calls on a mobile even with out a sim card

You can make 999 calls on a mobile when you do not have signal from your own provider.

So infact any old (working) phone with charge in the battery can make a 999 call.
  • can you put another 3 sim card into this phone as my 3 contract phone is broken?

This 30 top up definately lasts 60 days, I work for superdrug which is a part of the same company. Incidentally, you can also get the same phone in most superdrug branches for 4.99 also with the 30 top up.

    Hi Littlemisscarole

Which Superdrug can you buy the same phone for £4.99 with the £30 credit? As this would be a money saver's dream as you can sell the phone for more than that without the credit! Therefore, this deal equals free calls!

When I contacted Superdrug in Fareham they told me the phone was £39.99 with the £30 credit and were unaware of any instore deal?!

As I understand it you can buy this phone for £4.99 in Superdrug, however, you also have to buy the £30 credit at the same time, hence price of £34.99! This is the case in my local, the fliers in store say the phone is only £4.99, read smaller print - for this price you have to spend at least £5 in the store and buy the £30 credit, so £34.99 for the phone/credit, plus a minimum additional spend of £5.00 elsewhere in store, hence price £39.99 also quoted.
