Cash Top-ups have no expiry date, which means you can enjoy 3's great value for as long as you want. All you have to do is activate it within 90 days of purchase and start exploring 3. It's that simple.
Cash Top-ups give you maximum flexibility. You can use your credits on any of 3's services, giving you great value on everything from voice minutes and games to full length music videos. Call, text or download...use your credit on text messaging, international calls, football highlights, comedy clips, Tunes & Pix, Top Shelf and much much more. You decide.
And you can add extra texts or cash credit top tailor your Top-up to the way you use your phone.0 -
If you buy it on pay as you go does that mean you can't use a monthly contracted sim in it. Also I heard that Superdrugs are offering a similar deal in store I think it was something like spend £5.00 in store and you can get the handset for £4.99 plus the £30.00 credit.0

Yes. That is a superdrug deal I think (which is owned by 3 parent company also).
I think you can use it with 3 contract (but you get good freefones with a 3 contract anyway, why bother).
Actually, 3 is going to glue the prepay SIM into the phone soon and so any unlocking would be completely out of question...0 -

Just phoned Superdrug in Fareham and spoke to the instore '3' mobile phone staff who were unaware of this offer? They offered me the same phone reconditioned for £34.99 with a £30 airtime voucher! My advice is to stick to amazon deal and use rpoints (if you have not used amazon before) to get £5.00 cashback! Better still register with Amazon using a different email address and credit card... £5 off LOL :rotfl:
Another money saving tip is to use companies callback service to bag 5p per min cashback from '3' Just keep them talking!! :money:0 -
This is one of those too good to be true offers. It is too good to be ture. The phone is completely rubbish. My son bought one when he was 15 from a superdrug store and we could not get a refund even though they had sold it to an under age child. The tarrif was ridiculous you when you toope the phone up with your £15 a month they took £10 off towards the FREE calls they gave you was always trying to work out how they could be free when they took £10 off you for the privelage and the remaining £5 dissapeared at the end of your month if you hadnt used it. In shorter terms the offer meant for £15 a month you got 45 minutes of calls to any network Now come on what a really bad offer is that. My son already had an online O2 sim card so we got the phone unlocked to any network even though it still leaves 3 network settings in place that cant be removed. The phone has to be unlocked by cable and we sent it off through an advertiser on Ebay. The phone itslef has about 2 hours maximum talk life on the battery and needs to be constantly on charge at home or the battery just dies as soon as you go anywhere. 3 network was very rarely available in most areas my son tried to use the phone.
Unless you just want an offer to try it out for the 2 free months cos I guarantee you you wont want to be topping it up again then it will be fine for you.The phone itself is very big and heavy and I actually replaced the phone with a brand new one after 6 months cos I could never contact my son on it. Its streetcred value is nil with a teenager and if you think it will fit in a trouser pocket or a handbag then no chance. Worst phone I have ever used. Forgive me for thinking the idea of having a mobile phone is to be mobile with it in case of emergency except in the case of this phone and 3 network it either wants to be plugged in all day or when roaming about there is no network available. The whole deal is a joke no matter what terms they are offering and glueing a sim card into a phone if it is their new policy just shows that they have no confidence in their consmuers to leave the 3 sim card in it through choice. Most people want the 3 phones unlocked to still a better network sim in them. Funny how the more reputable companies just let you chop and change what sim card you stick in a phone you purchase from them. Can you imagine buying a loaf of bread where you couldnt choose what size of slice you wanted to cut off it. Get a grip 3 and welcome to 2006.
Taken from the 3 website **200 text messages for £10** THAT ISNT AN OFFER THATS A RIP OFF. If you top up an o2 online sim with £10 they give you the £10 in calls where the credit never ends unless you use it and they throw in 300 texts or 100 multimedia messages and 1mb free wap all for free for that month as well as a few other different offers and these sims cards can be picked up for a few pence on Ebay and just stuck into any phone.Officially a self proclaimed GEEK0 -
Confused here.... obvious the phone is rubbish so paying £30 for £30 of credit and never using it again would be the only advantage, else you get charged for it, unless you can unlock the phone and use another chip which appears to be difficult right?0

I was thinking of firstly buying the phone, using a cashback site (about £1-2 back)
Then I was going to use my gift vouchers that I've won as part payment, with the remainder (about £15) on the credit card.
Then sell the phone in the local paper for about £40, and state that it includes the credit!!
This means, that I have converted my vouchers into cash, made a little bit on the cashback, then made a little more on the phone.
Only catch I can think of, is the phone doesn't sell for £40, so the price would be lowered to £30. That would still be acceptable, as I'd still be converting the vouchers.
But I only have 60 days to get rid of it!! After that, the phone value reduces even further as the call credit expires.0 -
This 30 top up definately lasts 60 days, I work for superdrug which is a part of the same company. Incidentally, you can also get the same phone in most superdrug branches for 4.99 also with the 30 top up.outbidder wrote:This is not my personal link BTW!

I went into superdrug and they sell it for 39.99 with £30 credit, so amazon for £30 seems cheapest, right?0
