Motorola C975 PAYG on Three Only £29.99 Including £30 Credit

What’s the deal?
If you’re looking for a cheap back-up emergency mobile, Amazon is selling Motorola C975 camera phones* on 3 Mobile for £30. The best bit is that there’s £30 of free call credit thrown in.
Is there a catch?
The free call credit expires after 60 days. But it’s still a good phone to keep for emergencies without using it. The minimum top up you can buy is £10 with no expiry date, so there’s no need to top up each month.
One further note, if you're considering buying it to unlock, reports are it is very difficult to unlock so be careful.
How much do calls cost?
The phone is on the 3 Mobile’s WePay tariff, read a full list of call charges and costs here

i see this phone on carphonewarehouse and others, seems to be a current 3 network offer. but i've read poor reports on this phone, it seems to be entry level 3g, and battery life is pants.
can't remember the review sites, but i did google them when i initially saw this offer.0 -

I have spent a lot of time, & sadly money, trying to unlock this phone without success. Ignore any website claiming they can unlock it. Battery life is not good. But it is a cheap entry level 3G phone!0

Thanks for that one. Got my sister visiting from Australia in two weeks. She will be here for two months (60 days!) so perfect for her to keep in touch with everyone here during that time.mew wrote:Official insert:
