For the mainland UK a generic login exists that will work even if your ISP login refuses to allow you to login, or your ISP is off-line. Also if you are experiencing intermittent problems with your connection, its good to check with this test login, the login bypasses your ISP totally. The login is: Username = bt_test@startup_domain Password = (ignored) If this authenticates, you can browse to a single site, https://www.bt.net/digitaldemo which has a number of tests including streaming video/audio and test files to download and verify the performance of your line. If this login fails contact your ISP for further advice.

Okay - I will try :rolleyes: basically says there is a free account you use to connect without wanadodooo - to see if it is your ISP causing problems or the line ... but you can only see one site and it has loads of pretty things to keep you busy while u wait for the line to fall over again...
