I hope I am the only unfortunate one who came across so many issues just within 2 months. I don't want to hold more parties or recruit more consultant if the problems cannot be solved. The brand itself is very good, but concerning with this programme, I really doubt that they have the ability to run it properly. They really should improve their customer service.

I still haven't received my starter pack :(

Was really looking forward to doing this too, but unless I get the starter pack by the end of the week, I'm going to ask for my money back (that got debited almost immediately!)

Hi Kate, I'm sorry to hear that you haven't received your starter kit. How long have you been waiting for? I strongly suggest you call them to ask as I know someone didn't receive the starter kit and later found out it was in the post office somehow. I have been calling them whole morning but nobody answered. You only have 14 days to cancel your decision so you have to get contact with them in the first place!

I sent them many emails last week but they didn't even reply!

I complained to the other department of the company and they replied immediately:

    "
Thank you for email but I am sorry to hear that you have been unable to get through. When you refer to Customer Service I presume you mean getting through to the NYR Home Coordinator who is incredibly busy but will deal with your enquiry as soon as she is able. I'm also sorry to hear that you've had problems with the general service but as you're aware this is a new venture and inevitably there will be teething problems so I urge for your patience and understanding. NYR At Home is a separate company to ourselves so am unable to be of any more assistance I'm afraid."

I would say, being busy is not the excuse not to reply or solve problems for consultants. Why don't they employ more people? They should know their limitations before encouraging us to recruit more people and hold more parties!!!

and now we end up with not even a place to complain!!!

Is it multi level? Were you recruited by someone into the business? Are NYR a member of the DSA?

Hi Caroline, Thanks for the reply. It is multi level. I don't think NYR is a member of the DSA although they WANT to join it!

The biggest problem for me is that they send me old version of the product at full price. I'm not sure whether it's legal.

I would imagine as the product is still in date, and is the same product as advertised then there is no call for them to honour a return/refund you. There is probably a disclaimer about packaging somewhere. Probably legal but not good customer service.

If NYR were abiding by DSA guidelines then your customers would have 14 days to get a no questions asked refund.
