I'd be really interested to know your experiences with this - I used to managed a NYR shop so I know their products pretty well.
I would be concerned about forking out for products that I then can't shift, as I don't have any experience of home selling.
Anyone had any succcess with this scheme?

Could you tell me what happens next? I signed up online yesterday and paid the £95 starter kit - now what do I get in return in paying this?
Thanks

Did you get in touch with the company and get allocated to a team leader? I did this and the team leader emailed me a list of all the terms and conditions which I read throughly before signing up.

You should now have a log in and be able to look at the training information on the consultant's web site.

I am new at this too! Waiting for my starter pack to arrive - ordered last Friday but then there has been the bank holiday.

Thank you for the suggestion. I've finally spoken to the lady in NYR and she was helpful. Now I need to wait for the kit's arrival and a sponsor to be allocated. Can't wait as I'd like to run my own little beauty business at home with these products for facial treatments etc. The other worry now is whether I shall get enough clients! Many beauty salons seem to have mushroomed in the high street all of a sudden lately: & there are only so many ladies who want facial treatments!!!

Hi everyone,

I hope this is okay to post, very similar to the avon post. NYR (Neal's Yard Remedies) is just start NYRHome and I am the ver y first consultant. There isn't really a forum to swap ideas and give tips to one another. I know we have our teams and our team meeting etc but its always nice to here from consultants in other areas.
So thought id see if there are any consultants on here to share there ideas.

I'm starting a list of ever consultant on here, so anyone new to the forum rather than trawling through all the pages can check this first post for a local consultant or for the sign in name of someone if your wanting to PM them. It'll take a while to gather all the names and details so bear with me...
I'll start with me...

Flaura - Oxfordshire/Wilts/Gloucs
Roys - Essex

Hi everyone! I had very bad experience with NYR Home since I joinedthem in April. I haven't solved all the issues at the moment becausetheir customer phone seems never answering and they didn't reply myemails either.

Firstly, receiving wrong order.

When I received my first order, I found out it was another consultant'sorder! I then contact the customer co-ordinator who instructed me tosend it back. However, since then I had never had MY ORDER back becausewhenever I contacted them, they replied by saying the item I wanted wasout ot stock.

Secondly, receiving wrong fund.

They refunded me, because my order was cancelled due to out of stock. However, when I checked my bank statement, I realised that the refundwas incorrect --- they didn't refund what I paid for.

Thirdly, receiving old stock.

My customers ordered 3 Beauty Oil. When I received my parcel, it turnedout to be the OLD VERSION of beauty oil, the package as well as theinternal appearance is completely different from the new version whichI displayed from the starter kit!! And THEY ARE GONNA EXPIRE WITHIN 4MONTHS!!

Having experienced these, I'm not in the mood of having more partiesany more. By posting my experience here, I also hope you can give mesome suggestions because I cannot get hold of the customer service.Believe it or not, they only have ONE person in charge of dealingcustomer issues! No wonder they always say they are busy!

In the end, I hope I am the only unlucky one as I really like NYR products but what I have experienced really let me down!

P.S. I will let you know when there is reply from them!
