Why would Tescos give Sainburys the money back? The vouchers can't be transferred and I think it's very unlikely that Tescos have done a deal with them. After all they are in competition with each other. I'm sure that sainsburys just write the money off.

I agree - it's a cheap marketing trick - nothing more - all supermarkets seem to be doing it to each other tesco taking asda vch/sainsburys/somerfield - they assume you'll go in maybe with £5 - £10 of vchs and spend a lot more and obviously hopefully go back and they have got you as a customer.

Any supermarket stupid enough to take vchs which have already been redeemed is fair game as far as I'm concerned - lets face it if we all know its possible how on earth doesn't Sainsburys/Asda? :cool:

I have had a clubcard for 6 months and never had anything off them. Do we get these coupons at xmas or something? how will I find out how to get them /how many I have ?

Has anyone received their 1000 clubcard points yet for registering a new TescoInternetPhone and topping up with £10 before early October?

I know a couple of people who haven't and am being sent around in circles by Tesco's clubcard and their internet phone support staff, each blaming the other.

Tesco seem to be very good at promising clubcard points but conveniently forgetful when it comes to fulfilling them.

My 1000 points from this promotion hadn't been added to my account, but when I rang customer services they said no problem and added the points there and then - no fuss at all.

just post them back to tesco, if you ring up customer services they will give you their address

My Sainsburys won't take tesco vouchers. I rang up 3 local ones and they said - the computer says no!! who else will take them?my local Asda also said no

Do you have a balance showing on your receipt. Give cs a quick call and check that the card is registered, and that you haven't signed up for the christmas vouchers... Deals are better than that.

Do a dummy online order for any deal and try inputting the codes on the vouchers you have. It will tell you if you've already redeemed them. Just make sure not to finalise the order!
