Which tesco credit card is the best one to boost points bearing in mond that it would be better to have one that can be used everywhere else, including paying for shopping from other supermarkets.

I want to really boost out points but not always shop at tesco.:o

There's a clubcard credit card which is a mastercard, this earns you 5 points for every £4 spent in Tesco's and 1 point for every £4 spent elsewhere.

There is also a clubcard plus account this is not a credit card but you pay money into an account and you can use it only in Tesco's, this earns you 2 points for every £1 spent in Tesco's.

Really it would be best for you to have a clubcard plus account for your Tesco shopping and use the clubcard credit card elsewhere.

There is a huge amount of info about point collecting and is really friendly. I only seriously started collecting points a couple of months ago and managed 10,500 in 2 mths. :j :j :j

appoligies if this has already been covered before, if i was to order hotel tokens for a nice child free night away in january can i pay the difference with my credit card??

Yes you can use deals tokens as part payment towards the total price of hotel deals. Some of the deals you have to "pay in full" but if you look at tesco.com and clubcard section you will see eg blockbuster "£11.85 clubcard vchs for 12 rentals" you would have to pay the full £11.85 in Tesco vouchers for the deal, but the majority of them you buy in £2.50 denominations and can use as many as you want towards the cost of your deal.

    Hope this makes sense

It really is a fantastic site, I'm awaiting just short of £250 in tokens, £1000 in deals.

  • Hi all.

When MSE Martin was on Lorraine Kelly the other morning, he mentioned that one MSE'er had exchanged her Tesco vouchers for four times the worth in B&Q vouchers.

Does anyone know how to get the B&Q vouchers????

I've looked on the Tesco site and I can't find B&Q mentioned anywhere.

    Cheers!
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

You do a 'dummy' order which totals more than the minimum spend

you dont need to put in more than the minimum spend, i always bank my codes by putting in toilet roll for a couple of quid, it stills banks the code.

Can anyone advise me if there is any way to use spent (bought next years holiday with Cosmos) vouchers.

I went to an ASDA in Feltham that takes these vouchers but only up to 10% of shopping.

I thought of selling on Ebay (as long as I made it clear they were spent) but I don't know if there is a market.

    Thanks

    Paul

    ps I have over £300

My daughter took some to Asda and the assistant went to the manager wo said they do not take them. I have told her to save them and just try a different store
