Can someone please explain how to bank money off codes. I cannot find anywhere on the Tesco site to do this.

    Thanks

You do a 'dummy' order which totals more than the minimum spend (I usually put a mobile phone in my basket!). You then proceed to checkout without actually confirming your order. You put in the Voucher Code but do not proceed to the very end. Therefore the code is then banked for when you need it because Tesco quite often withdraw codes before the expiry date. I have several separate accounts set up with Tesco and when a new code comes out I bank it on all the accounts. Hope this helps. ;);)

I've a diiferent question about Deals vouchers. We ordered some for our recent weekend in London, and enjoyed various different places with them. We still have about £20 worth left, but can't see that we will use them before they expire in the New Year, can I send them back to Tesco to be recredited to my account?
Yes. You can send them back to Tesco Freetime and you can request that they add them back to your account or you can change them for an alternative deal. I recently returned some Cosmos Holiday vouchers and asked for them to be exchanged for Goldsmith vouchers. I received the Goldsmith vouchers within 5 days.
  • If I was to do a shop for £50 and use a code for 100 points on a £50 spend then the next day remove goods until my shop was only about £20 would I still get the 100 points ????

The cut off date for new vouchers in the post was 22nd October. So they will be working throught the system sending everybody out their new batch of vouchers. Points added from 23rd October go onto next quarterly pay out.

No. The points are based on the total at the point of sale after bogoffs etc are deducted. I've even had the points not credited because a substitiution took me below the minimum spend, but in that case I was able to get customer services to give me the points, as it was hardly my fault! Some people have got away with the minimum spend before bogoffs but I don't think its worth the risk of loosing the points. It can depend on who is processing your order.

If this should be in another thread please move.

Which tesco credit card is the best one to boost points bearing in mond that it would be better to have one that can be used everywhere else, including paying for shopping from other supermarkets.

I want to really boost out points but not always shop at tesco.:o
