No, you don't I'm afraid. They do sometimes run bonus points promotions, but the current offer is free petrol vouchers.

Whats the free petrol thing? My daughter went to the store and she didnt get any vouchers, she still has the recept it was well over a £50 spend. Can she take her recept back and claim them? It was on 9th July

Thanks taxiphil, I have just received my renewal notice for my car insurance..I will phone up Tesco to find out if I will qualify for the petrol vouchers..

I just noticed you get 650 points if you take car breakdown Insurance with Tesco..Standard breakdown insurance is £33. So potentially it's a deal worth £7.. (as 650 points can be effectively worth £26)..not bad..

You need to look at the offer more closely!

You only get 650 points when you take out their most expensive policy - Total Care Level 3 cover which costs £79.

For the £33 cover that you're referring to (Standard Care Level 1) you only get 250 points, worth £10 in Deals.

Lady_K, I think you might be getting two separate offers mixed up.

In the posts above, we've been talking about the Tesco Car Insurance offer which gives you vouchers for free petrol when you buy a car insurance policy (£25 or £50 worth, depending on how much your policy costs).

However there's also an offer at the moment where they give you a voucher worth 5p off every litre of Tesco petrol if you spend £50 in store. If your daughter spent over £50, go back and ask them for the voucher as they should have given it to her with the receipt (the till prints it out).

Thanks taxiphil, you are right..I nearly got caught..the 650 points is only for the most expensive breakdown policy..

I phoned up Tesco as my car insurance renewal is due for tomorrow..They said I'm eligible for the free fuel vouchers.. you have to ring 08000324541 to get your vouchers if you are renewing your insurance..alternatively you get it directly if you apply online..

how do you all get so many clubcard vouchers - i only normally get $5 worth (my pound sign is broken) or less with a few basic money off vouchers for salad and stuff. Any help would be much appreciated.

usually there are some extra points codes for when you spend above a certain amount online. I for one use these codes when its time for me to do a big shop.

None around at the moment though...sob, sob.

I contacted tesco last week to ensure my 2400 points from my wine orders have been added onto my August mailing...they weren't there when I shopped on Monday, but have appeared today.:j

might be worth you all contacting tesco and checking your points are added too before July 31st deadline if they haven't yet appeared on your receipt or online. Else you'll probably be waiting until November...
