  • Hiya all,
Having just moved and unpacked a bit I came across some unused deal vouchers which are now well out of date. Has anyone successfully managed to get these turned back into points from TESCO?
    Many thanks!

Yes just post them back to the address on Tesco clubcard site.
they will credit your account with the points.

Yes, just use your CC voucher to pay for them in Tesco - but that would be a real waste of the value of your points!

Feb, May, Aug and Nov are the months where statements and vouchers are sent out, so what has happened is that Tescos are processing your statement which you'll receive shortly with clubcard vouchers to the value of what you have earned the previous quarter- so more than likely you'll receive £8 ish worth of vouchers. These have codes on so you can then redeem them online for the deals. You can keep hold of them and save them if you like, as the expiry date is usually 2 years. Whatever you do, do not use them off shopping as they're worth far more by using them towards the online deals. £8 off shopping in tesco's or £32 of deals online as the value is 4x more online.

With your statement you'll also receive a few bonus coupons for shopping.
  • Hello all, I cant find mention on here of the story below from the metro but it has me a bit worried.
I checked my account today and it has '222 points which will appear in your Feb Statement.' - I should have actually got 40,000 points thanks to the talc thing!
I assume they have processed these and the vouchers are on the way?
Tesco haven't contacted me to say they have taken them away but I'd appreciate some reassurance - £600 of talc for no reason would be harsh!
I only have one card so I'm not 'abusing the system'.
    Thanks.

A Tesco customer has been stripped of his 14 Clubcards after beating the supermarket at its own game.

Mr x had £2,000 worth of points taken away after he made £15,000 through the store's Clubcard scheme.

the supermarket, whose slogan is Every Little Helps, has cancelled his cards because 'he wasn't entering into the spirit of the system'.
Mr x claims there are 30,000 people who are playing the system as he has and some have been forced to quit after settling out of court with the supermarket.

Tesco issued a statement saying: 'It's unfortunate he is attempting to portray himself as a victim of corporate bureaucracy.

'If anything, he is a victim of his own abuse of the scheme.'

  • Hi,
We're in the same position, we're saving all our vouchers for holiday car hire in early june. I emailed tesco customer service about this today and they said:

    Thanks for your email.
Avis are no longer part of the Clubcard Scheme after 31/05/2008. This is
    mentioned in our new brochure.
There are no plans for Avis to rejoin the scheme at any point in the
    future.
This is no alterantive Deal in its place at the moment.
If you need further help, simply email us or alternatively you can phone
    us on 0808 100 0707

Fat lot of use I know but it's a definite answer at least

Clubcard deals include Avis car hire which I have used on a previous holiday and got very cheap car hire, Avis now seem to be withdrawing from the deals as of April/May this year:confused:

Does anyone know if another car hire firm will replace them:confused: if not this could mean no holiday for me this year as I have be saving all my vouchers for Car Hire

Thanx in advance for any answers :T
