I converted some vouchers only this week into deals tokens for english heritage membership but then found out that i can get into those sites for free now anyway (home educators free entry) can i send the deals tokens back or use them for something else? thanks0

I have over £100 of vouchers. I had a look around the deals website and noticed that some of the offers prices are different when using vouchers. For example I looked at various hotels and they say that their web prices are not valid for clubcard deal vouchers. So it's not really 4 x. The special offers on the hotel websites are better than can be had through the club deals. Pretty disappointed really and will probably just use them in store.
Where are the real deals ?
ok, you may pay more, but if you are shopping at tesco anyway, you might as well use the points to pay for something, as then you havent had any cash outlay. yes, some deals are more worthwhile than others, ie entry to theme parks. the way i look at it is, unless the rooms cash price is 75% less than the deals price, then its still cheaper to pay using deals, as if id used the tesco vouchers instore rather than converting to deals, that the face value i would have iyswim
why pay out in cash, when you have the 'free' deals tokens. final price doesnt come into it, its the cash outlay that matters.

Yes you can use them for something else. I converted to get deal tokens to go the Design Museum in November - and we never ended up going - but when the tokens arrived there is a letter saying if you don't want to use them for what you first decided on you can use them on any deal which isn't "Buy in Full". I phoned them to get clarification this week - and asked if I could use the tokens for one of the restaurant deals (I'm going to Durham in a couple of weeks and intending to take friends for "free" lunch in Slug & Lettuce paid for from clubcard voucher tokens) and the clubcard rep said yes - no probs - can use them for that!!!

Both hubby and I are saving all our points to put towards a family holiday to
Florida in 2009. My question is when we convert our clubcard vouchers to Virgin holiday vouchers will I be able to use both sets of vouchers to book the holiday as they will both be in the same surname or will I need to book 2 holidays for the same dates? We should have £500 between us so we will get £2000 off our holiday.
Many thanks for any help anyone can give.

vouchers have to be in the names of the people who are travelling, so you can use both sets of vouchers against the one booking

can anyone answer a question for me?
i want to use some clubcard tokens against the euro tunnel. Someone i know doesnt need theirs and is happy to pass them onto me. however can i use anyone else's as i know that some of the holiday deals/travel deals say they are "not transferable and in your name only" when you read the t&c's but it doesnt say this anywhere on the euro tunnel deal. has anyone ever booked eurotunnel and can let me know if the voucher was in their specific name?
thanks

Has anyone that has converted vouchers to BA Miles tell me how long on average they take to show in your BA account?
Tesco web site says upto 28 days - anyone any experience of it being shorter than this?
Thanks0 -
Hi, Hope someone can help- I want to use clubcard points towards RAC membership for my partner and just want to check i'll be able to do this without his actually being the owner/named person on the clubcard.
On the website it basically says that Tesco send you a form to complete with all the details for the person who the RAC cover is for which you then send to RAC who in due course send the membership pack through. I cannot see anything that stipulates about names marrying up with the card holder?
If it is likely to be a problem i can do a joint membership and include myself on it, but it costs an extra £6.50 in vouchers which obviously i'd rather not use as i don't need RAC cover.0
