I`ve checked through the holiday section, but cant find anyone else who doesit, im going to keep saving my vouchers incase something comes up in the meantime.
Does anyone know who does DLP trips??
you can use your tesco vouchers to go by eurostar to Paris, but you cant use them to go direct to DLP, but its fairly easy to get across paris to DLP
or you can use your vouchers for eurotunnel or ferry crossings if you dont mind driving to DLP
or you can book campsites/mobile homes in the paris area, through french life or Siblu using tesco vouchers.
or change them into airmiles
so it is still possible to get to DLP using your clubcard deals.

I was saving my points for a car, but OH has always wanted laser eye surgery....decisions decisions

Wow, I didn't know they were doing that. I wonder how much more over the odds you would pay though. I often get a buy one get one free offer by email, but I guess it'd still be cheaper (well free) with vouchers.
I had been saving for a new bathroom with MFI, until they stopped being on the list.0 -
hi there,
has anybody ever used the clubcard points for hilton hotel vouchers?
if so i have a few questions -
1, if i have paper clubcard vouchers in my posession am i able to change these to hilton vouchers?
2, will the vouchers have the account holdrs name on?
3, this is a long one - basically i have found on this forum that many people seem to say not to use them as they quote different prices for clubcard deal rooms and that they only have so many rooms available for clubcard deals. is this true? it it that they will not allow bargain rate rooms on clubcard deals and that you pay the 'fully flexible' rate or that theyactually charge even more than that?
4, also is it the same with marriott - do they have different prices etc?
i think i will be going with the hilton unless there is good reason not to.
Thanks in advance for any help/advice given.
What you need to do is to phone up the Hilton first - we just booked with Macdonald and they only had limited availability. Plus you can't always tell how much it will cost you from the hotel website/brochure as they don't seem to advertise their bargain rooms. Once you've established that they have availability for you (yes, it seems that some of the hotels only have limited spaces for clubcard customers - I suspect possibly the higher end of the market. We never have a problem with Ramada!) then you apply for your clubcard hotel vouchers. Do it online and they get sent out the next day. You can print off a booking form from Tesco.com and send that off with your vouchers - but you save on the postage if you do it online!!
You then get some nice hotel vouchers in the post which don't seem to have any reference to your name or the name of the hotel either! Having said that though I suspect there is a unique code on there somewhere. Then you phone up the hotel and make your booking (say you're paying with clubcard vouchers) and then send off the vouchers to the address provided.
One thing to say is that Tesco's are very good and if for some reason you over-order vouchers or you can't book the Hilton then they will convert them back to clubcard points for you.
Hope this helps!Jan 09

Procedure for Hilton: Get the Tesco deal vouchers from Tesco and then mail them to Hilton at the address given and Hilton will send out Hilton Gift Vouchers. The last 3 times i have just made a normal/internet cheap booking at hilton without mentioning tesco club card and then paid them with Hilton Gift Vouchers that I got using tesco vouchers. This only works because sends our normal hilton gift vouchers which anyone can use anywhere and there is no mention of tesco on them. Not supposed to do this but for now it works...
Procedure for Marriott: You have to book using tesco club card rates. you ask tesco to convert your money into Maariott deal vouchers, which by the way look like any normal deal vouchers and can be used elsewhere if not used at marriott. You pay marriott using teaco deal vouchers directly and do not have to send them in advance unliuke Hilton.
hope this helps.0 -
Is it possible to go this way?

From today Tesco have the 100 & 150 extra point deals on the Johnsons products again.
Goto your local store to see the yellow ticket for details or log into your tesco account online and search for "johnsons" in the groceries section.

How do you know what items have the extra 100 points? I had a look in Tesco yesterday and couldn`t see a single POS or SEL with them on?
So how do you find them?Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -

Tesco.com, as -1- pointed to is a good place to start.
Sometimes the Express and Metro stores don't do the same deals as the larger stores, so were you in a metro or a normal store?
Finally, if you're buying Johnsons solely for points then it isn't such a good offer as last time...ie the talc isn't included. However you can make a bit more in deals than you spend on the multipacks of baby wipes.
128 wipes(2 packs x 64 wipes) cost £3 + 100 points ie £4 in deals
256 wipes (4 packs x 64 wipes) cost £5 + 150 points ie £6 in dealsWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Hi,
I have used my Tesco clubcard plus for first time today to pay for shopping. Noticed receipt shows normal amount of points. Should it show double - or do they get added later. Thanks0 -
I`m not sure what sort of tesco it is but it`s huge.has all the clothes, electricals and what not.
I`ve tried getting on tesco.com but when I register it asks for my clubcard number,I only have the paper one at the moment.Which it wont accept but wants me to sign up for one.I have phoned today to get a proper one so I dont wanna put anymore details in,incase it messes things up.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0
