That means you need to find £104 in real money to add to your clubcard vouchers. (£21 vouchers x4 =£84, £188-£84 = £104 balance left to pay)
For that price, you'd be far better off going with auto aid...Martin's top choice for the cover you require.
(article here http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/roadside-recovery)
Joint policy, recovery, home, onward travel for the family and their cars. It's a pay and reclaim service, so you pay the recovery when they fix your car and you then claim it back from Auto aid. we use them and have had to reclaim once...recovery arrived in 30mins and the money was returned in 6 days.

If you do want to go with the RAC still, repost and someone will take you through how to use your clubcard vouchers off RAC cover.
Apologies if it's a bit basic, but didn't know how much info you needed:D
Thanks for that - would have been looking for ages to try and figure it out. Still seems toooo  expensive, so I am off to check out autoaid. Only thing that worries me is that I always have the credit card as don't trust OH with it, hope he doesn't breakdown when he's driving.:rotfl:

Maybe keep a sealed envelope in the car with the autoaid details and a blank cheque?

good thinking. When you say joint policy do you mean that you have to buy two. I have just looked on the web site and can only see that the policy covers people who are married or in civil partnership - we haven't done either!:jloving saving money :j0

The Clubcard site lists the European hotels that are available with the offer, and the Hilton Prague isn't one of them. Is there any way the I would be able to use the tokens in Prague?
sorry not really related to your original question, but be warned we stayed at the Hilton overnight at xmas, got a really good deal - BUT do not have a drink in the damn place £9.95 for a glass of wine (250ml) a round of four drinks (one of them coke) cost us £35.50 total rip off0 -

Can't help you with that one I'm afraid...I'd give Autoaid a ring and ask them all your questions.
Mind you, 2 policies with autoaid still work out cheaper than 1 with RACWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?

mmm - been surfing all afternoon - have posted a question to Autoaid and waiting for them to ring me back. I have also checked tesco who appear to do a gr8 policy for £55 - if I use my tesco cc I'll also get some points too!:jloving saving money :j0

just got a reply from autoaid to say that they won't cover us under one policy but they do have a partner company who would cover the car, the link is: http://www.autonational.co.uk. But having checked their site, it still comes out at £66 with discount. So looks like tesco wins again. Unless someone can help further. I don't have to take a policy out until the end of the month.:jloving saving money :j0
