You are supposed to keep them as they are valid for two years. They should reissue them though, but call quickly as it will be quarter end in 3 weeks, you need to get it sorted by then or you won't see them till Feb.

I had no idea, ive never kept any of the vouchers just thinking that they were added on to my next lot with the next mailing.. i must have thrown loads away :( I better get on to them - wonder if they are still open and hope i havent lost out now.

    thanks for info.

I'm sorry to be hogging this thread with so many questions but im again not sure :(

I've just phoned CC and the nice assistant has agreed to move over all my clubcard vouchers i have thrown away! so i'm really pleased about that.

    .but..

she said i am registered to receive e-vouchers and do i want to keep it this way? I agreed as i use the 50pts on a £2 frozen food spend online etc..

It was only when I got of the phone that i thought about it. THis doesn't also mean my clubcard vouchers does it? The ones i'll receive and save up then turn in to deals?

Do i need to ring them back or will these vouchers be ok?

I would move them to paper vouchers, as you can keep them in a safe place (subtle hint there hun lol!).

  • If i were to open another acc in say a.n. other first name but the same last name as mine could i use the vouchers to book a holiday???? I thought u could only use vouchers to book holidays if the persons name on them were going aswell.

When using deals vouchers in Goldsmiths the total spend has got to be over £200. Im looking at getting something that costs £70. If I used the exact value in vouchers to buy this and then paid in cash for something else taking the value to over £200 and then took that extra thing back, would that be a way to get around it, not that I wasnt to cheat the system or anything like that :)

  • Forgive me if I've missed someone else posting this already - have just found a nice little money-saver.

I used my clubcard points to pay for a 10-week photography course at the Open University, all conducted online. I have discovered that although it's not a full-time course, I'm still entitled to an NUS Extra card, valid for the whole academic year. I've just received mine without any problems.

The card costs £10 but facilitates various student discounts including 5% at Amazon, a BT Broadband offer, 10% at Superdrug, 10% at Matalan, 10% at JJB sports, 25% on AA membership (10% for renewals), 25% at Domino's Pizza, etc etc. I LOVE being a student again! 1smile.gif

Hope that heps someone... link-posting not allowed but if you'd like more details do contact me.
    Have I said something useful?

Yes, you can use their vouchers if they are travelling too. I've herd some people take out extra cards in their surname with the same initial but a different first name as vouchers are issued with initials only.
