Next time read the terms and conditions before diving in.
Constantly chopping and changing usually ends in woe!
You really have no one to blame but yourself!!
Stop Moaning!:rolleyes:GoMakeDatMonee :cool:0 -
I swapped my tesco points for Tokens with Irish Ferries after checking their prices online. After the non-exchangeable vouchers arrived I had to phone the Company direct (0870) to book. The price for my trip increased by over £100! The online quote is apparently a 'special offer' price not covered if you use the vouchers.
Not sure if their tokens for other things work like this but be careful.0 -
I think this pretty much happens with all the clubcard holiday/hotel deals. I was going to save up for a weekend in Paris but have decided instead to use on day trips to Legoland, Chessington, Longleat, aquariums etc.0

Yes I had the same experience with the Goldsmith vouchers - weren't valid for anything worth having. I returned them to Tesco and took the cash vouchers insteadThere will always be:
A “LIE” in BELIEVE, an “OVER” in LOVER, an “END” in FRIEND, an “US” in TRUST , and an “IF” in LIFE0 -

Could you elaborate on the restrictions that were imposed on you - I was told the vouchers would be valid for every item instore that wasn't in the sale, and I don't want to embarrass myself by going in for the watch I have my eye on if this policy has changed.0 -
Can someone help?
Recently Tescos sent out all the Clubcard vouchers.
Can you swap them between people? I only ask as my housemate has given me £20 of vouchers of his (on his card number) and he wants me to buy something on his behalf.
Can I use the vouchers even though the number and name don't match my Clubcard and still get the money off?
Cheers
P.S. I always use my own vouchers for Clubcard Deals - I figure he can do what he likes with his!0 -

I used the Goldsmiths vouchers just before Xmas. Bought some jewelry. There were no restrictions then, just got the money off the total.
Have they changed this recently, are they not worth it anymore?0 -
Me, too. I used Goldsmiiths vouchers - the only thing I wouldn't have been able to do is to buy sale items (they had some watches at 75% off at the time). Even used them for extended warranty.0

Use your keyfob clubcard which does not have your name on, and it is very unlikely that you will have any problems.
Even using a normal clubcard with a name would only be a problem if you had some really over-zealous checkout operator (usually middle aged women who failed the traffic warden entrance test for being too nasty!!!!)0
