I dont disagree with the vast majority of what you are saying. I realise that most of your shots at the claims industry are not aimed at me at all. I do keep agreeing with you.
But we do need to sort the Financial Service Industry out once and for all. This is the ideal time to do it. When it is on its knees. Put it right and then rebuild it correctly from the bottom.

It has begun with the banning of single premium ppi. It was one big con. Nothing more.
But that con is just the front of deeper stuff.

Yes I do have an issue with undisclosed commissions. I have been studying this stuff since 2002, way before the vast majority of claims handlers knew anything existed other than endowment mis-selling.

I have to disagree with you about bank loans and credit cards. They are as deeply involved in this work as any of the others. It is right from the top down and needs sorting.

Then, when the recession is over people can have confidence in the institutions, for once.

If we let this go the institutions will be back the way they are now and looking for ways to fleece the public.

Nlow I too will go and lie down. Have a good weekend folks.

Perhaps we could sort out the claims management companies at the same time because quite a lot of them are creating a negative viewpoint, not only from financial services companies but also consumers. We know how easy it is for the good ones to be tarnished by the bad.

Sorry mate, we dont deal with credit cards or mortgages just yet. Just loans. As long as there is £2500 of PPI on the loan we can assist.

Although the holding company has been registered with MOJ for two years it is a new Service.

Should this web page be used to pedal your own business, i feel not. Fees or no fees this is not the place to advertise your services.

Yes I totally agree with you, these boards are not for the promotion of personal businesses, or for the recruitment of clients.

So do you think that when there is no where else to turn people should not be helped?
When the lenders have given them the run around and the FOS has said the loan is too old, what would you suggest they do, give up? or try taking the lenders to court?

How many people could do that do you think? How many would have the knowledge or the confidence?

Lenders are now sending barristers into court to defend these actions. How do you think the average man or woman in the street would fair against a top barrister. Get real.

Even a free service is not good enough for some of you guys. amazing.

It is not what you do, it's the fact that you are doing it on here, these boards are not here for self promotion of businesses.

If you want to advertise, do it somewhere else, stop breaking the rules.

I have not tried to self promote. You will note that I have answered specific questions and been accused on many occassions of not being open and telling the whole story. I was attempting to assist without blatantly advertising but you cant help if people dont know such help is available.

But I go back to my original point, Surely a free service is benefit to people, ESPECIALLY people on here who are struggling. Would you rather I let them carry on struggling? Would you prefer those people who are due compensation went without to satisfy pettyness?.

People come on here for advice and assistance. Some people advise, others assist and others appear to be here solely to bleat or join little cliches that have pot shots at others they do not agree with or take a disliking to. It is quite sad really.
