i thought it would be good to have a post for anyone with enttrepanrial ideas? were people could swap tips on getting things from the idea to the product. i have a few ideas that if i could get them to work i think would be succesful.
im not saying share your idea (wouldnt want anyone pinching them would we) but maybe share ideas on how to get things moving and how to be succesful.
I'm by no means an expert im only throwing a few ideas round at the moment, but im sure other people do the same thing, would be nice if we could al encourage eachother.
hope its ok to post this and no one thinks im mad, just an idea please delete if its in wrong place or a wrong thread

Bad language skills is often the reason that many 'entrepauners' fail with their 'enttrepanrial' ideas - if you can't use the language properly, how do you expect anyone to take you seriously? From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -

What a crock of !!!!!!.
Which language do you have to have good skills in? English or French? Since entrepreneur is a French loan word anyway.
Richard Branson is dyslexic and I should imagine has terrible written language skills. He is also one of the most successful businessmen in the country. What about the huge number of people who leave school with little or no qualifications who go on to gain huge success as self employed entrepreneurs or business men and women?
Upon what research or evidence do you base the assertion that many entrepreneurs fail because of bad language skills?0 -

To be fair though for every one person who leaves school with no qualifications and actually does well there are a few thousand who end up living on the poverty line for the rest of their lives either on the dole or minimum wage jobs simply because they did not learn the necessary skill sets whilst in education.
The Richard Bransons of this world are very few and far between and if people want to succeed in any self run business they are going to need to have lots of self discipline and a huge amount of luck, education or not it's all about pushing yourself and getting a break! However, a decent education or at least a basic set of business skills will give you an advantage above others.
I know that if I were running a business and an entrepreneur came to me with a badly written and poorly spelled product idea I wouldn't take a second glance at it. In business first impressions count for a lot and a presentable introduction letter to a company could mean all the difference to being invited in for a meeting to discuss a business arrangement or your letter being filed in the waste bin!0 -
OK so it was meant to be an encouraging thread not a, lets all jump on the slating bandwagon thread. So i made a few mistakes, actually that can be a key to becoming succesful, and for the record, i was relativly succesful at school and simply have alot going on where spell checking was the last thing on my mind. For any professional work I did I wouold always make sure punctuation, professionalism, and presentation were taken seriously.
Im also by no means on the dole or the poverty line, my husband has a good job and i was a nurse untill i became a mother, now i put all my time into raising to beautiful chidren, not that i have to justify myselfback to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
I think your idea for this thread was a very good one. It seems to have become a little hung up on spelling! Mine isn't perfect at times either. I think it's the sign of a creative mind. He he.
Hubby and I often come up with some kind of harebrained idea that will one day make us millions! So far they have just been mad ideas but this time next year Rodders........!
So can we get back to the subject and leave worrying about spelling for now.
I'm just off to invent a washing machine that does the ironing and can make a cup of tea!!0 -
'enttrepanrial,entrepauners,relativly succesful'
If you improve your spelling skills then that will help you go a long way to helping you succeed as an entrepreneur.0 -

Well said. My thoughts exactly. Time to stop pointing out other people's mistakes. We all make them.
Good luck jpwhittle.0
