Can I record TV programmes?
At the moment this facility is not available. Currently the site is in beta mode and our developers are working on an application that will be freely distributable at sometime in the future.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Zattoo uses P2P which is illegal.you could try http://www.zattoo.com this has an app that will sit on top of your other windows, different channels tho but most bbc etc are there.
TVCatchup is legal, and their upcoming desktop application is looking very good from the preview shots!0 -

Where did you read that p2p was illegal?!
p2p is a technology were all the users help each other to recive a picture...
im pretty sure there is nothing wrong with that, its only when people use it to watch 3pm premiership football on a saturday that it then becomes illegal....
i never heard people say p2p was illegal before?!0 -

P2P for this purpose is effectively facilitating secondary redistribution of copyrighted material (i.e. what is broadcast by the channels) and as such is illegal. Think about it - if you're watching something via P2P you're also uploading the content to others indiscriminately.
Just to clarify and avoid confusion, TV Catchup doesn't use P2P to distribute its content, but Zattoo does.0 -
