so whats the score guys with this as didnt have time to read complete thread.

I have been declined for a few cards of last couple of months but i dont have the decline letters as binned them, so does this mean i cant claim for appeal? or can i still do this without letter?

Bank of ireland
Ulster Bank
Barcelyscard

I think they all check Equifax mate have you checked your CF?

They all do indeed, but BOI/RBS (Ulster) check EX first with EQ follow up. Most CC's do this nowadays to be honest..... :T

Yea ok so they done same as me then and done a EQ full search at all addresses? If you been at current addy for 3+ years apparently (I dont know for sure, thus my use of the word apparently) they only do soft searches at both..... interesting.

Actually, no, BOI have done a full EX search then the day later a soft EQ search at linked address and soft searches at other actual addresses.... weird.

Ok, so tbh your new address shouldn't be a problem mate, I guess it was your parents house (previous addy?).....

If so that could be why, its not scored too highly because technically you don't have your own place so could be carefree with no thought to paying bills etc.... see where i'm coming from

Anyway, you'll be fine and credit will flow - i'm in a 1yr sabattical mate join me! From last week cos my cra shows 151 searches and that is attrocious. Barclaycard thomas cook said sorry because i've an 'unrecognisable' amount of searches and it would be in my best interest to immediately obtain a copy of my report. If this calsm down dramatically then to reapply sending in revised credit report (equifax) and they'll be happy to reconsider - to$$ers LOL :rotfl:

Was parents addy.........I think if I stopped hitting the apply button in 12 months I would be able to go mainstream with good limits.
