cancelling is easy - do it after 10 pm at night you can do solely online. MAKE SURE you've removed all films from your list and then posted back all your films first, and THEN cancel.
hth,
pippitypip.I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok - they know me here!

maybe if enough members email them asking for better existing customer deals they may listen!0 -
I used to be a member of Lovefilm but gave it up to save money. I cancelled with no problems, you do need to return whatever discs you have left before your next payment would have been due but there is no need to clear out your films list and the cancellation procedure can be done very easily online. I have recently rejoined again with one of the "3 months for the price of 1" offers and my account was just as I left it with my games and films lists intact which was very handy as I did not have to start from scratch again. Lovefilm are great for DVDs and games, very reliable and fast, the only reason I stopped my subscription was for financial reasons and there are always plenty of offers on the web for first time customers, there is always a minimum 30 day trial plus a voucher of some sort (I think I got a £10 Amazon voucher first time around), and I think old customers who have been gone for at least 6 months can be eligible for these offers as well. Like some of the other posters I actually received a letter and plastic card in the post offering me the 3 months for the price of 1 deal (this is valid on any package) as a possible returning customer and I took them up on it. Any new customers should shop around for the best deal before joining as there are loads of different vouchers, points and even occasionally cashback that can be obtained just for taking up a 30 day free trial (conditions are usually that you put minimum 10 discs on your rental list and have received your first disk to get your voucher). I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot if you haven't alreadypippitypip wrote: »cancelling is easy - do it after 10 pm at night you can do solely online. It's that time of year again!!
lovefilm have sent me 3 gift card things which entitles the recipient to 2 months free lovefilm subscription
go to https://www.lovefilm.com/xmas and put the code
YAXBHDGP6
make sure you take out the top package, and if you want games aswell, there should be a link on the page where you choose your package that says 'do you want games aswell?' (or something similar). click that and then choose the top package which will allow you unlimited rentals with 2 or 3 at home at any one time
make sure you keep an eye on the next payment date on 'my account' and cancel your account & have your discs back before then so that you don't get charged
ta
(also, make sure you have at least 10 titles in your rental list, otherwise you might find you wont be sent anything)
I also have received 3 cards with the code below which you are free to use for '2 Months Free':
NAY43RX7D
The link I have is https://www.lovefilm.com/merry0 -
Is Lovefilm easy to cancel, wondering about setting up a trial.
Not bothered for the 14days ones but would like 3 months ideally - where do you all get the codes from?0 -
I've never had any trouble with them but I've read posts on here where people have - maybe in the Praise & Rant forum. The main thing to rmember is clear your reserved list and ensure you sent back your last rentals with proof of postage from Post Office to reach Lovefilm by the date they require. In my experience, it was all quite straightforward so long as you read all the T&Cs properly.
On th eotehr hand, when I trialled Blockbuster, despite follwing instructions to the letter they still charged me for the 1st period after the trial. I had to e-mail a complaint to get it refunded, which they did but they shouldn't have taken it in the first place.0 -
I got those 2 month free gift cards too. They all have the same code. I guess it's first come first serve.
Go to http://www.lovefilm.com/xmas
Enter your code: WX43HHBYY
Expires: 05/05/2011. Cannot be used by existing LOVEFiLM customers.0 -
I want to get the Marks and Spencer £10 Voucher that Lovefilm are giving to new customers.
So I made a new account with a different email adress, my mum's card abut the same home adress. The account got deleted and they said that, you can't have a free trial at the same adress again.
How do people use different home adresses to get another free trial? I mean if you created a fake adress, wouldn't the DVD get sent to another home and get lost? then you would have to end up reporting it to Lovefilm etc0
