If the info is incorrect when i get a copy what can you do?

    What other agencies are there?

You know it I have had a stupid number of searches I am bound to be on this!. Experian!

    Credit Ref agencies:

    Experian
    Equifax
    Call Credit

    Fraud Prevention Agencies:

    National Hunter
    Experian Data Analytics
    CIFAS
    Synectics Solutions

If data is wrong, they tell you what to do when they sent it - usually tells you to go back to the lender who advised it. That isn't the case though, legally as they are providing the data they have to ensure it is correct and accurate.

If not you can sue them for Libel - long story so won't get into that right now LOL

Are you getting an unusual amount of declines?

No, not really. Probably the usual....a combination of too many searches in a certain period etc. Experian and Equifax have said that there is no adverse of CIFAS on my files.

However, I have managed to get an Alliance & Leicester account and a Littlewoods catalogue recently. I think that Cashplus card has improved my rating.

On a further note, I applied for a Tesco Clubcard last week and was declined instantly online, though :rotfl:

While getting car insurance quotes recently, one of the companies said my application would be checked by Insurance Hunter. A quick google found...
