I thought it was £70, but it's certainly around that. Might not be worth it if you can get it replaced elsewhere.
must have gone up, it was £30 and then a second charge for certain phones e.g. smartphones

I talked to an Orange rep about this only last week (about the C905 funnily enough), but I wasn't really paying attention to that part of the conversation. I think it was either £50 or £70. Not as low as £30 though.

    JP86,

You state only that it "still works".

This is a very highly featured 'phone, of much sophistication and complexity, and it has an elaborate camera and imaging system.

It has hit the ground heavily enough to smash the screen and shatter its glass.

Before investing money in getting that repaired, it would be prudent to check that every aspect of its operation has survived the impact fully intact and is still fully functional. If there is any other component of it that is (or could be) damaged, it could be more expedient to make an accidental damage claim on your house contents insurance, new-for-old, and replace it with a brand new 'phone.

And, given your joint experiences of the Sony Ericsson C905 - and those of many others with this 'phone - it might be best to spend the insurance money on a less troublesome make and model of 'phone.

A C905 was an option for me but research confirmed my own suspicions of it and I opted for something more reliable. You might be wise to do the same.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.
