That's got to hurt. A 20% increase in demand for rentals has been offset by a 67% increase in supply. Housing shortage anyone ?
http://www.realestateweb.co.za/realestateweb/view/realestateweb/en/page311?oid=37592&sn=DetailResidential property returns have plummeted to September 2000 levels, the latest London statistics show. Knight Frank released the details on Tuesday about this prime property market, which has attracted throngs of well-heeled South African buy-to-let investors.
Key highlights:
· Prime Central London rents fell by 7.4% during the first quarter of the year - the second largest fall on record
· Rents have now been falling for a year, and are now 18.2% lower than at the same point in 2008 - bringing them back to September 2000 levels
· Demand for rental property has increased by 20% over the past year, but this has been more than offset by a 67% increase in supply

The linked article seems to be about 'prime' areas obviously the luxury end of the market will be seriously effected but further down at the 'young professional' end of the market I haven't really noticed any change. My wife successfully put her rents up about 3% although I played safe and have left them as they areChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

I'm talking about the concept of exchange of sexual activity in return for currency. Was that not clear?0 -

Calling my wife a prostitute is not a joke! and I would be more than willing to explain this to you face to faceChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Actually, if the purpose of the statement was to gain a laugh rather than actually make the point that your wife charges for sex then it is generally accepted as a joke.
Can someone, please, for the love of god, start a debate on something that has intelligent, witty, thoughtful and insightful posts? Mrs Cleaver is out tonight, I'm in the mood to slob infront of the footie with my laptop and all I've managed to do is argue with a jobless, John McCririck-wannabe who is too simple to understand the concept of work and Chuck Norris who thinks I have the capability to assess his wife's sexual habits without even knowing who she is.
Anyone? Mewbie? Lostinrates? Ad0898? Generali? Even Brit?0 -

By the way, I was going to reply to this with "I've seen what she charges and it certainly isn't a joke."
Then I remembered your performance in 'Delta Force 2' and decided against it.0
